It's half time so maybe, but he played up until the siren. Was pretty ideal, got through and did a number of things that will do him the world of confidence.

No, he doesn't, he's slow at VFL level and the team needs more speed not less. High possessions at the level below isn't an indicator of AFL success particularly when they don't hurt.

Long was selected and Bytel would lap him in a 400m race. Mcrae is slow and has been given multiple opportunities. Sullivan is slow but a good user and accumulator and he has played games.

They drafted him so give him a chance to show what he has got for a couple of games. Our midfield couldn't do any worse.

What a disappointing AFL and VFL season

It has been a terrible season almost from the start with a few false dawns sprinkled throughout but it all begins and ends with injuries.

Both levels have been decimated by long term injuries. It's a wonder the vfl team is even competitive most weeks.

And there may be a few more quality players in the vfl side this week but the constant changes in personel every week makes it impossible to create the synergy a team requires to win games.

Fly's windscreen analogy needs to be applied to 2024.
