What happened to Cyril Rioli in 2017? Barely sighted.
Also we used to have the team to cover up our ruck problems however ruck has always been a glaring issue even during our prime. What exactly does Monkey do? Our ruckman are too focused on the man. The run past the ball every time as they...
Big boy was hanging onto the ball by his finger tips in that contest and Lewis just watches from a meter away as two dogs rip it out of his hands.

Say all you want about the hartung free but Luke Bruest needs to take serious look in the mirror. 15m out directly in front.

Am I the only one who think's we haven't taken advantage of the leniency the umpires have to the little flick throws? Personally I don't like it in our game but some teams are getting a pretty big advantage in close by doing it.
The Firrito tactics on Bruest reminded me of when I used to have to line up on the big overweight full forwards in the amos. Generally the type that were towards the end of their career and the sole source of enjoyment in their lives was taking out blokes half their size. You always managed to...
Need to bury Walters at every opportunity, he is the key to their forward line and has a ridiculous goal sense. A bit of kamikaze Duryea in his direction would be nice.
I feel they will try and expose Lake and Frawley's shaky disposal in our defensive 50 with intense pressure. Flankers and...
Wouldn't mind some sort of defensive tag/ plan for Johnson. Perhaps Shoenmakers if he stay's in, could potentially make him more accountable going the the way.
Watch Mitchell and Walker in the last play of the 3rd. Walker wraps Mitchell up and clearly raises the knee in a corking motion. Noticed it at the game, replay confirmed it.
Nothing much in it. But demonstrates to me his mental state in this game was about personal redemption (along with...
Am I the only one that is getting increasingly frustrated with out inability to mark and contest marks around the ground?
A real weak point.

We overuse the blocking the man on the mark.
It serves a purpose in the right circumstances, but sometimes you gotta go back quickly and lower the eyes rather than sneaking back and scoping out a teammate to lay the block.
We have been running ourselves into trouble and kicking in hope too...
Am I alone in thinking the Lewis incident has been blown completely out of proportion? Yes it was deliberate and stupid, but it was hardly ever going to hurt the guy.
1 week max.
Found it interesting Gunston, our only shinning light up forward was playing fullback for the last 10 minutes or so when we were desperate for a hit up inside forward 50.
I'm all for our team being adaptive and unpredictable as a whole, but sometimes you need to play to your strengths. Hird...
I'm stating the obvious here, but judging by the celebrations after the McEvoy marks/ goals it would seem we have a plan to make him a key pillar up forward. Rough was genuinely pumped like a kid in the playground on a couple of occasions when big boy did good things.
Damn he has only just turned 23. Going on normal distribution, he is sill years away from the top of his bell curve.
A mouthwatering prospect considering how good he is now. Fantastic pick up.
I heard Puopolo being called a bloody wog by some Sydney nuffie on Saturday.
Any wannabe journo could write this about any footy club after a day at the footy.
Sour grapes for me.

Agree, has the best dukes in the team and was going all jeff farmer every contest.
Rough had a fantastic game yesterday but he had a chance to really make a stand with a couple of minutes to go in the centre and he didn't go hard enough. Port player half his size spooked him.
So far, Sewell.
So many times I've mumbled his name under my breathe after seeing him monster out of a contested situation. Talk about getting the best out of your attributes. Warrior.
