Tex Wanganeen's at Essendon, so I dunno who much good blood there'd be between them and Port right now.

I don't think it's bad blood per se, but Gavin Wanganeen has always seemed to regret leaving Essendon.

We have something similar with Betts, to show it's not a lol port thing.

I can't imagine the inclusion of Ashcroft and Dunkley would help his midfield minutes.

Plus he ticks a lot of boxes. Will be 26, 192cm, fully developed, 100-125 games, can play nearly every position, Vic Country lad from Horsham (4.5 hours from Adl).

Plus I feel like Brissy's list is ripe for a good pillaging.

From memory he got shifted into the guts after the Lions went a mile back and then proceeded to do a number on a historic Crow Killer Clayton Oliver, while picking a heap of the footy himself.

Either way, it def feels like it’s either Melb, Port or (at a pinch) a WA club. Definitely not us. I’m sure the club has a lot simmering away behind the scenes. I suddenly have faith in the brains trust at the AFC to nail the recruiting of free agents/established players over the next 2 years or so.

Yep..its not out of the realms that they engineer a 3 way trade where a player like duursma and ports F1 go to a side with a back ended top 10 pick which then goes to melbourne and pickett ends up at port
