It's a system to review an umpire's call, which they held. Non call, was as legit as as the Reid goal so cancelling each other out the margin stays the same. Stop your whining.
This loss has been coming for weeks for Collingwood, scraped to the last 3-4 wins but have gone under the media radar while the Eagles took the underperforming tag for them. Freo outworked them, and in the end had the legs to run over the top of them. Brad Hill stringing together good games in a row now, if he can keep it up there should be no reason Freo shouldn't make the 8.

Who cares. You got one from a wrong call and you got one against for a wrong call. Cancels each other out in my eyes and you have no right to complain. Collingwood simply weren't good enough to beat a team missing a player for nearly a half of footy.
Non existent HTB????? Well if you are a close watcher of this game in general, I'd say half the frees are non existent even the ones that get shots on goals. That is all the game does these days, leave confusion and anger, meritorious play is second fiddle to the free kick for nonexistent frees, doesn't matter which team , it happens to everyone every week, and we the public put up with it, look at Richmonds comeback last night, second quarter last 7 minutes , 2 goals from frees that WERE NOT CALLABLE , but they were called and umpy gets a couple of goals, its the rules and the tiggy touchwood non contest allowed in contact when you are meant to be playing a contact sport when most of it is free kickable , how the hell do you defend or attack with out some pedantic rule that gives the prancer a chance to call some petty ambiguous free kick . Like FREMANTLES DYING MINUTE TODAY, rICHMOND GOT PRAISE FROM THE BLOODY COMMENTATORS FOR A COME BACK, WHEN THEY ACTUALLY GOT TWO GOALS OF THAT COMEBACK FROM FRAUDULENT FREE KICKS

Its the AFL and the rules, if you don't see it , you are blind . Its there in your face.
Umps need to put the whistle away in the last three minutes and NOT CALL disputed tiggy touchwood frees , it is 9 out of 10 times one of the grey grey maybe rules , that can create a situation where umpires can, and one day will decide a game, and no one will know , but it'll happen if it already hasn't.
Merit is how you win and hardness and tough allowed physical contact in the contest. But thats gone now days. Sack the rules pains , and sack Gil the killer of the game!

Collingwood have beaten Richmond and Brisbane as the only sides in the 8 and we have only beaten Fremantle inside the 8. Cats Eagles and GWS clearly in better shape but Collingwood have still been the most hyped side all season? I think GWS and Geelong have been severely underrated

Why? There’s no avenue to review bad free kicks during a match, so they can’t be overturned. Hardly the same thing at all. It worries me people don’t see the difference.

He said Scott should go because his time was up and his coaching was holding the players back. Scott gone, players play with more freedom, 2 wins. Correct.
Today he said the score review system failed because the right result wasn't arrived at. Also correct.
Well they shouldn't get frees for five goals neither should you get free kicks in front of goal for goal kicking, in the last minute , the game is ruled by free kicks, so look at it next time the free kicks caused by the rules committee kills your mob off out of a game, really, have a close look, like most Aussies did a few weeks back.

There's no avenue to review bad reviews either - them's the breaks unfortunately. You'll be familiar with this though - you had a goal allowed against Brisbane that hit the post.

How good was he back in 2013-14? I used to love the way he'd automatically take on the tackler in front of him no matter who, when and where. You just knew he'd take them on every time and get past them. I was spewing he left us. Big loss. He has his weaknesses. Not always hard at it and not the strongest tackler. But he makes up for that with his running power and evasiveness. Usually finds a teammate in better position too. Doesn't just blaze away.
