Melbourne did it.
They just made a few untimely turnovers in the last quarter but they got the game back on their terms.

Gawn was pretty poor and he's starting to find his best form again.

Geelong has taught everyone that getting wins in early allow teams to manage their players and their training loads to get in peak condition about 2-3 weeks before finals.

You don’t win premierships in June, but it’s certainly better than trying to come back from 0-5 like last year.
