Carlton lost to Geelong who are shaping up as flat track bullies. Dons could do them here.
Rubbish!

Easendon haven’t beaten anybody this season.

They’ve been solid enough to win against bottom 8 sides , losing to a Gold Coast that just lost to st Kilda doesn’t smell great.

💩

Carlton’s form since getting a few back has been in the improve & we should take care of the almighty Essendon comfortably.

Essendon are 2nd on the ladder for a reason. They have 34 premiership points for a reason.

Even the all-time great premiership sides didn't go undefeated.

You can't be this one-eyed on the main board and expect to be taken seriously.

Lol what? Cats started 7-0 and have won more games away from Home than at Home? (The MCG is not our Home ground, especially playing MCG tenants there).

Lost games to other Finals teams by very small margins which could very easily have gone the other way.

Port by 6
Dees by 8
Giants by 4

Cats at Kardinia: 3W 2L
Cats Away: 5W 2L including wins at Adelaide Oval twice, the Gabba, and the MCG against MCG tenants

This is the same Geelong that everyone had finishing 12th-14th right?
Can't all of a sudden say they can't beat anybody when nobody had them winning shit going into the year.

That's not how these things work.
Team X lost to team Y, so team Z should beat team X.
Anything could happen in this game. What happened in Cats vs Blues won't have any impact.

Yes it is absolutely how things work.

North beat Eagles.
Eagles beat Melbourne.
Melbourne beat Richmond.
Richmond beat Sydney.

So North are premiership favourites. I don't want to hear any different.

Round 13 - Bombers v Blues Sun June 9th 7:20pm AEST (MCG)

Any interest in your own game!

[Edit] Scratch the request, one of them has been called into work so we will try to get the whole gang together for another game!

Good luck tonight!

Bit of a long shot, but if anyone (preferably in AFL members/GSS/Warne stand level 1 area, but not picky!) has a couple of spare tickets they no longer plan on using, I'd be willing to put them to good use.

I've got a few international guests attending their first game ever and have managed to get entry for four of us, but there are two more who have missed out at this stage. I only found out they were free and keen to join yesterday, hence the last minute nature of the request. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Plenty? Just like i'm plenty interested in this game too....just like the crossover of Baggers supporters in our threads all the time.
I addressed a claim that someone made that is false....other than that i'm keen for both games.

Swans and Cats should be a good contest straight into the Main Event with Bombers and Blues.
Good day for footy on a otherwise pretty poor weekend of footy.

I have it on good authority that the winner of this game will be the one to watch out for - they can win the premiership....
I think that's true of Carlton but not of Essendon. Carlton are a legit threat and it took till the second half of last season for them to get going.

Essendon are still a ways off really contending. They should be finalists at the very least looking to build on that momentum next season.
