Yeh I replayed it a few times, the ball was just leaving his hand and definitely hadnt hit his boot when you hear the siren on the footage. Why wasn't their a score review??

Agree, but typically Eric then goes missing for the next 6-7 games and that consistency week-to-week is what he has to address.

Think it’s the umps call not a reviewable call. Stupid with technology, tv had 2 second left and about 6 go before he kicks the ball.

It's always been based on when the umps blow the whistle and not the siren sound to mark the end of the quarter. It was kicked before the umpires blew their whistle so its a goal. It's been that way forever.

They use the siren as the EOQ. But they can also be wrong. Which is fine. Hence we have score reviews. the umpires can call it a goal, easy enough to see in a split second decision, but on replay/review it wasn’t

We also didn’t have score reviews forever, stupid if that decided a grand final, the tv clock had 2 seconds left for the ball up no time for a goal!
