No one respects the Melbourne Demons football club more than me. This should be a close and hard fought contest. Melbourne has the edge here because they’re in the 8 and we aren’t.

Respectfully disagree. Melbourne’s form of late has been very poor, even prior to Petracca’s injury. Lions on the other hand are playing exceptionally well. Sans Petracca, and playing at the Gabba, this could get ugly.

Ok. Obviously reverse psychology in play here. You’re clearly taking the P One Double S. Melbourne are actually 9th, not in the 8. Brisbane hot on their heels in 10th.

Favouritism/underdog status is determined by form, venue and personnel availability, not a marginal differential in ladder position. 10-15 goal win looming for the Lions.

Disagree. Just spitting facts.

Theyll hang in there for a bit I suspect but get blown away in a 10-minute patch where Brisbane put 8 goals on us.
Have faith in your mob, you still have the GOAT, Gawn to lead.

Angus Brayshaw. Premiership hero. Absolute star.
Retired due to concussion on the eve of the season (he'd been training in the pre-season). If we knew he wasn't going to play this year we likely would have held onto James "PADLOCK" Jordan, whose playing some really nice football at the moment and will probably have his second premiership medal shortly.

If the lions are lucky enough to win this week would the Melbourne fans who can’t make it up to the Gabba like me to boo Simon Goodwin off?

You can Venmo me. $5 for standard boos. $10 for booing with occasional ‘resign Goodwin you coward’ shouts. $50 for all of the above plus pleas to bring Ben Brown or Josh Schache back into the side.
