I think Brisbane win and it will not be close.
Brisbane 6 goals +

If by some miracle Melbourne win, then Danny boys fingers are going to fall off from typing :p
No matter which way it goes the Cam Rayner thread is going to go ballistic. Danster’s posts in that thread currently total 748.

I’m tipping they will exceed 1,000 by the conclusion of this week’s game, and they could possibly get to 1,200.

If the lions are lucky enough to win this week would the Melbourne fans who can’t make it up to the Gabba like me to boo Simon Goodwin off?

You can Venmo me. $5 for standard boos. $10 for booing with occasional ‘resign Goodwin you coward’ shouts. $50 for all of the above plus pleas to bring Ben Brown or Josh Schache back into the side.
I dont know how but I just feel it needs a bit of "Jack Watts" somewhere.

Angus Brayshaw. Premiership hero. Absolute star.
Retired due to concussion on the eve of the season (he'd been training in the pre-season). If we knew he wasn't going to play this year we likely would have held onto James "PADLOCK" Jordan, whose playing some really nice football at the moment and will probably have his second premiership medal shortly.

ahhh I thought Angus retired before the trade period...

and a nice nasty gloat from GUH on top!

I’ll be replying the 2021 semi and pretending 2024 isn’t a real thing. If we win this one, on to the Cats in a prelim! Exciting times

Petracca being out is massive is usually the difference between the two teams I think he’s kicked 8 in the last couple of games
He had no impact the last time we played, was BOG in round 18 last year, no impact in the lights oiut game at the Gabba, no impact in the 2022 SF, didn't poll votes when we beat you by ten goals at the G in 2022 and polled 3 at the Gabba when we beat you by ten goals.

Yes hes had a couple of good games, but hes not the difference.

I think a mini rivalry has emerged between these teams in the last few years.
Had a few great games, the big comeback from Melbourne at the MCG, the finals win from Lions.
Dees just seem a bit busted at the moment but you never know.

It's surely gotta be some kinda of bigfooty record.

Disagree. Melbourne are in the 8 and we aren’t. We will be big underdogs.

I watched Brisbane destroy Port last week and seem to be heading back towards last years form, you will win this easy.

Im only glad Goodwin is playing more kids as oppose to his contract as we need to give them experience.

The media thinks Berry should tag Oliver but Clayton is struggling without being tagged Berry should go to Viney he’s the midfielder that gives the Dees run and carry
Please tag Clarry - the less disposals he gets the less he can hurt us. I think he was 2 disposals for and 4 free kicks against at 1/4 time last week.

Dunkley head to head with Viney imo.

Let Berry physically and mentally destroy Clarry again for old times sake.
