I haven't seen too many deny that it was touched. A couple have.
It was 100% touched. I haven't seen and don't need the alternative angle to know that.
Doesn't change the fact that it would've been hard to see in real time and, while a disappointing call, hardly a howler.

How can the umpires get that one call so damn wrong. Kick was clearly deflected off a player.
I'm not talking about the rest of the game and freo got this and that. But this is one call that was so clear and so bad it cost a team a game. Crazy this stuff still happens. Imagine this in a GF.

What a bizarre call
You mean you flodded and played chip chip keepings off so no one could score, great way to control the play for 3/4 of the game but makes it hard to put anyone away.
If your coach played a more aggressive gameplan you probably get 30+ in front with the clearance dominace early and win but you seem intent only on making sure you dont get scored against.
Still struggling to find in the record books where Hipwood won a Coleman.

The Acres one was fair. Not a lot of prior, but the sidestep (I think it was to get around our own player) is what undid him.

I'm thinking of a different one. I'm not concerned they were paid, I am concerned with the 20 that werent paid. Seems a very different interpretation if you fail a kick as opposed to fail a handball. Although Freo did get away with a kicking one that led to a goal 2 disposals later.
