Need to make sure Max Gawn is manned up when he floats back aswell, just runs around uncontested and intercepts the ball.

Im waiting for a ross lyon esque face planting.Surprising. I expected him to say “yes, we are ******, might as well forfeit”
I reckon they are fairly confident now. Hopefully the Vic media will blow them up to be all conquering gods and they are over confidant.Just re-watching the last game against Melbourne. Only one quarter in so far, here's what I'm seeing;
- We regularly fumbled, most players seemed 5-10% off. If we can start better next week, that'll help immensely.
- Lycett has been dropping everything and really not competing. We need a huge left from him.
- Darling started strong, was a real up ground link player, his mid game loss was obviously huge. Just need him to not get concussed!
- After Darling went down, our forward entries have been impotent. Darling and Kennedy should, again, help immensely.
- Midfield is really down on Melbourne's output. We need Q4 from Collingwood game midfield effort.
First quarter next week, really need to lift early! I feel we let them get their confidence up in the first quarter.
I reckon when Gawn drops back to fill a hole, it's incumbent on one of our big
backs to really make him earnt it.
Just smash into him from behind with knees and elbows whilst spoiling.
Got to make sure we don't get any players esp. key forwards knocked out. From what I see Melbourne have a focus on hitting the body and the head hard esp key players Tom Mitchell last night is the perfect example. That's N Jetta's second big hit in two weeks and he has a number of mates. How do you defend that? Got to fight fire with fire I reckon. If we meekly let them attack us physically without making them fear us they will knock us out literally and out of the finals. The umpires are not and won't do anything.Just re-watching the last game against Melbourne. Only one quarter in so far, here's what I'm seeing;

Hopefully whatever the hell has been going on with Lycett is resolved and he comes out firing. Gawn wiped the floor with him last time, at the stoppages and all over the ground. It was hideous. Cant allow such domination this time or we are screwed.

Schoey's middle name used to be Swervability?Worried if Schofield comes in we will be too tall Dees have alot of swervability.............
Really expect the whole team to treat it like it's their last chance to a GF!Lycett should give everything hes got against Gawn and treat it like it's his last chance to a Grand Final....
Can’t blame the umpires for your poor kicking on goal.For two weeks in a row Melbourne looked after by umpires, good luck to you next week, please put a stop to it.

This. Is so. We have a few options that the Hawks lacked. Hurt is a beast for exampleSchoey has a bit of campaigner about him plus he would love to be back in the squad after being left out. Schoey can play tall and small and this allows Hurn to play a more attacking game.
Well it's wasn t professional - who Took the mark 15 out only to have the dullard say it was a bump ball. Cameras don't lie even if the commentary could not stomach itFor two weeks in a row Melbourne looked after by umpires, good luck to you next week, please put a stop to it.
