What was Collingwood's clearance differential/scores conceded from clearance pre and post bringing in Tom Mitchell?

Couldn't find stats but found this quote from Pendlebury
Pendlebury indicating that he will have to slot into the Magpie's fast-paced tempo and defensive accountability;

“It's the Tom Mitchell who dominates around the footy and is a beast around the ball, but also puts on pressure, tackles, and he probably doesn't feel like he has to be best on ground for us to win."
“He has just got to do his job because he addresses a great need for us. We haven't been great around the footy with our clearance work and that is his one-wood.” As a side last year, Collingwood were routinely trounced in most statistical categories, particularly stoppages and clearances, but made up for it with their dominance around the ground.

I haven't watched any SANFL, so can't really comment, but genuine question; could Matt Crouch play a similar role for us? not to dominate possession but at least even up clearances a bit whilst still maintaining the other better users in there? His career averages seem to be similar to Mitchell.
No

Typical Big Footy response.. Going smaller makes sense here instead of a largely unknown, not very tall, tall in Borlase.

Closed roof, quick deck, the amount of drive and rebound from the back line going smaller is going to be beneficial.

Every single one of those lads has a damned good kick on them. They just need to kill the ball as it comes in and get to work.

The issue is we will play Jones in defence rather than the wing where his drive would have been handy at Marvel and we could have given Nankervis a game who would still provide mobility and drive out of defence. Missed opportunity.

So WaynesWorld19 given your advocacy for Jones on the wing and given his form there, what’s your thoughts on Nicks playing him defence this week rather than giving Nankervis a go?

Let me guess you’re ok with it?
Who do you think will be the Sub ? ......Borlaise as a tall backup ?

After last week, are you surprised they've stuck with the same group .......ESS aren't that tall

Jones ....again, you're from a bygone era, where players played the same position every week, all game .......flexibility is the need today ......we know Jones is the preferred WING .....not an issue

Hinge becomes extra important with the 3rd man intercept this week - he needs to take a lot of marks and kill a lot of balls coming in

Last time we lost by 4pts.
