Assuming no injuries and Tex and Sloane back, wanna bet Knight doesn’t play?
Hmmm tempting, I reckon only one of those senior guys plays. Going by the presser with Hart I would say yes Knight plays.

I wouldnt pick him though, dont rate him as highly as others.

Random idea - we should give Brown a rest this weekend. Let Mackay play his role and give Poholke another run.

Brown is an absolute key for us and he’s been ground down towards the end of the season a few times. Let him rest up this weekend to space out a break ahead of the bye and pre-finals week off.

Same goes for Jacobs really.

Yep, someone has to move into a position that's not their best as Dmac is shuffled forward.
One would argue a forward flank probably is a good spot for Atkins. Bar the Sydney game he's struggled to get involved.

But you continue your ridiculous stance.

I’ll eat my hat if we make 3 unforced changes for that game.

In: Tex, Sloane, Knight
Out: Fogarty, Gallucci and the guy that does his hammy in the warm down.

There is nobody else getting dropped. Selectors relying on an another hammy going perhaps?

Filled in the missing bit for ya. :thumbsupemoji:

Bet you he does.

Knight has run 10% more than any other Crows player since his return & has been a wrecking ball for the opposition, coming off a limited preseason.

The club thought he was at risk of injury if he played & I'm all for managing players rather than playing them & they breakdown.

Any word on whether Tex is a legitimate chance to make it back for the Showdown?
Could have played this week if really needed, so all being well, should play next week.

He had hammy tightness & hasn't actually done an injury.

The odds are someone will be injured... but if not, I'll say Fogerty, Mackay & CEY as the outs for team balance. Atkins may be under pressure too, so good competition for spots.

B: Brown, Talia, Doedee
HB: Milera, Otten, Laird
C: Seedsman, Mrouch, Sloane
HF: Lynch, Walker, Knight
HF: Betts, Jenkins, McGovern
R: Jacobs, Douglas, Gibbs
I: Kelly, Greenwood, Atkins, Gallucci

Im not looking for an excuse to go off at the Crows management. I smell BS in regards to the “managed” call though.
Ah, in which case Knight can be “managed” this week. Not play in the Showdown next week (just couldn’t fit him in with Tex and Sloane back) and then maybe play SANFL the week after as he’d be ok to play if it was hamstring tightness.

The conspiracy intensifies! :D

Or perhaps we see that he is important to our chances against Poort Pear.

Many supporters (not saying you) underestimate his importance to our structure.

Do you think this “awareness” thing might be similar to what Talia felt last year when he pulled out in the warm up. I believe the club was not aware of what best to call it in that instance.

That’s if you believe them.

He may have ran more than 10% in 2 weeks but the majority of players have played a lot more minutes.

So no injuries, Tex and Sloane are in, you think Knight is in and I don’t.

If you’re wrong you have to change your Pic to “I love Marty”

Atkins has been playing on a wing for the last couple of years, but you continue your ignorant stance.
I'm very aware of That, but his from this year hasn't been great. I don't think even you would disagree hes much better in front of the ball than behind it when required to put himself on the line.

But we can blame that on DMac, Lord knows everything else is his fault.

I agree on that, but he's justified his selection....... so far.

Justified selection off half back so far, no worries. But then he got surpassed by Milera. Has his form justified pushing Knight out of the side, you can argue that, fair enough. Has his form off half back this year and wing the last 2-3 justified pushing Rat out of his wing spot? Even you know the answer to that.

He would be lineball, Rat was putrid up until the Sydney game, where he started on the wing and pushed forward at every opportunity. Rat is your classic front running wingman, he would be well suited to a half forward flank.

All 3 of Milera, Mackay and Rat have co-existed in the same side all year with reasonable success.

Who do you think Knight would replace in the team, assuming Tex and Sloane come back in and no players are injured?

Gallucci and which other 2 players?

There have been more than 50 players in the AFL who have played mainly as an outside mid/wingman this season.

Please provide a comprehensive list of all the outside mids who have performed better than The RAT this year. Kicks? Disposals? Rebound 50s? Goals? Goal aissists? Tackles?

Our two wingmen, The SEED and The RAT have been as good as any team in the AFL this year.
