Way too early to make that call.
It’s just like projecting draftees - you rate their tools and where they can get to

He either needs to be taller , better with ball in hand or more athletic to reach those heights

Being competitive with endurance makes him a comfortably listed AFL Ruck but not in that upper echelon

What’s going to get him into that top 8-10 rucks in Comp ?

He has but still not a top 8-10 1st ruck in Comp going forward at his absolute peak
Top 10 in contested marks

11th in hit Outs per game already.

He's tracking OK for a Ruckman after only 6 AFL games.

Compares favourably with the Round 1 draft pick and highly touted Tim English both on 6 AFL games apiece.

RoB is tracking well to be a very serviceable Ruckman.

Just like the Premiership Ruckman in the last ten or so years.

Hey i’d LOVE to hear some people’s opinions on Josh Jenkins and if he should have been included this week /s
No way did he earn an upgrade, putrid his 1st week in the SANFL and only marginally better last week....Correct selection decision IMO.

Hey guys, I wasn't sure where to ask this but was just wondering if there has been any particular reason behind Alex Keath's rise this season. Has he had a bit of a role change or is it just a case of him coming into his own as a footballer? His numbers are pretty impressive for a KPD - averaging 19 disposals and 8 marks. Is it sustainable? I haven't watched too many Crows games this year and so haven't been able to watch him too closely. This is for fantasy purposes. Cheers.

I’m not a fan. But his marking around the ground last week was very good. If he can really build on that and make that his weapon then I’d put him top 8-10 even with the tools he’s got. He’s got to improve hit outs to break even (don’t think he’s far away from that) and then keep up his agression and ground ball work (pretty good there even now).

Don’t ever expect him to kick clutch goals or to use the ball that well by foot. But if he can really excel at taking marks down the line and deep in defence then I think he is capable of being that 6-10th most effective ruckman in the comp (projecting forward).

The post was meant to be sarcastic as this entire forum has been obsessed with discussing JJ.

He really should be getting royalties from big footy and the media!

I think he has filled the Doedee role which has permitted him to be more attacking and less of a lock down defender, hence the increase in numbers.

Also his tank has probably increased and he is coming into his own (as you identified).

I think teams will be aware to This now and start to try and engage him like some teams do for Rance and McGovern (the good one!).
