What made Thomas good at North was he was hungry for goals and he knew where they were. He's come into the Port/Hinkley/Bassett system and being told to share the ball and look for someone in a "better" position. He's being ruined.

Matthew Nicks last week went on about Hinkley loving “shot selection” - ie players should always look to give to someone in a better position before choosing to kick to goal.

It is costing us big time in an already underperforming forward line.

Basically ignored all their teammates and in Greene's case waved them all away. We should be developing that kind of confidence in our players. We should be developing winners, not guys who make it someone else's responsibility.

Agree with the sentiment, but if we do that we wont have enough players to field a team.

R.Gray is the only forward who should keep his spot on form. His brother started the year well but has fallen out of form.

Lindsay Thomas, geez. A player whose only weapon is playing for free kicks, in a team that doesn't get free kicks. Who could have seen that being a complete waste of time.
