It's amazing how quickly an entire season changes after 1 game. We've gone from going 3rd but equal top, to 5th but equal 3rd, we've gone from top 4 contender to top 8 contender, and we've gone from faves against GWS, to the definite underdogs.

We have had real issues with GWS for a while and I can't see that changing. Their midfield always smashes us and without Ryder we will struggle big time.

wait for the good old howard in the ruck and **** our defense so badly up. Lienert would be brought in when ken does this and again we will get killed in the air. Golden pass pittard will come in for bonner. if this club has any regard for player welfare gray doesnt play. We see how touch and go concussions are espcially with whats going on with ben jacobs we wouldnt want that for robbie. Farrell is hopeful but neade will probably come in for gray. Barry for amon would be hopeful as would frampton in.

If we blood all of lienert frampton and Farrell it isnt as bad as 3 debutants in one game looks; its not like theyre all light bodied 18 year old first year players except farrell. Framptons been on tje list a while, lienert is a mature body since weve picked him up

Not sure how you can pick anyone from the SANFL, if you thought the AFL team performed poorly the SANFL team was actually much worse.

So it makes it hard when you've got so many players who played so poorly they should be dropped but you've got a team they got walloped by 10 goals to a winless adelaide to choose replacements from.

In my view amon should've never been selected and trengove was stiff but I'm lost after that.

This idea of Howard forward is not a silly one.
He has all the attributes to be a pretty good full forward. Quick, great leap, and good on the ground. Problem is it robs our defence of a tall spoiler. Also he may end up doing some rucking now that Ryder is out.

That's not an intimidating opponent if Billy has any ability at afl level. He's only played 6 games himself and still working it out.

Billy comes in and can do a half reasonable job in ruck and a little bit around the ground it's not asking too much.

Yea well I basically said that . Injuries mean less chance of it happening now but some time in the future it could be worth a shot, coz this team right now is a looong way from a flag, and some changes should be made .
And GWS WILL tear us a new one with the crap we are dishing up.

Yea I've always been pi$$ed off how some think a player with hardly any experience should always be perfect. But that's BF I guess. The problem lies with our core group of experienced players.

Agree the issue of robbing defence by moving Howard up forward.

Westhoff would have to drop into CHB or liernert.


I’d hate to see Howard back into the ruck though as I feel this is what has destroyed Dixon’s kicking. The leaping changes the muscles size and tension, changing the feel of the kicking action.
