GWS's midfield is much strongr & faster than MELB's ......all our games this year have been lost in the midfieldHe was as bigger part of being down by as much as we were as he was getting back into it.

Pressure acts is a very weird stat. Again, to the eye you would have thought he puts up less pressure than anyone.Exactly this. Well not quite exactly, the other important one is he was #3 for pressure acts as well.
So yes, whilst he fails the eye test...miserably so, it’s clear he’s doing enough other stuff to get him across the line.
Interesting his name came up in Hart’s presser, I suspect some stern words issued after the game
Because if Sloane does get up Gibbs won’t play but surely Sloane is less than 50% chance

Murphy answers the same question as PetrenkoFunny how Greenwood had 2 inside 50 tackles, 29 pressure acts to Murphy’s 0 inside 50 tackles and 15 pressure acts.
Did I forget to mention Murphy had 5 disposals? 5
We've been pretty conservative in regards to injury management this year.I have noticed some betting markets not including Sloane in disposals bets.
Its interesting because the last time they did this was for Mrouch when he was named for when we played the Lions.
Kelly, Coninglio, Tarranto (breakout season), hopper .....thank god Whitfield is injuredThe beauty of their midfield is that it is just as strong when it bats deep.
I think Gibbs only played last week because Crouch didn't get up. The intention was for Gibbs not to play. How is Atkins holding his spot - personally I would prefer Gibbs, not too sure what he has done to become the unclean?

But all quick
Brouch probably defends least within our midfield mix, not sure what his stats are but it does appear that way.I think Gibbs only played last week because Crouch didn't get up. The intention was for Gibbs not to play.
It's fair enough when viewed in isolation. He has been piss poor defensively and we didn't spend two firsts for a tagger. Needs to defend in his own right while also playing an offensive role.
Trouble is he's not exactly alone in his sins but he's the only one in the naughty corner

If Sloane players he's gotta be 100%
I don't reckon he's going to play, but a fitness test is there to make sure he's 100%.Well IMO he cant be if he is having a fitness test today and didnt go hard at training on Wednesday.
He was interviewed last night on Fox Sports.
Won't play. Greenwood likely playing all along. Club probably trolling big footy.Well IMO he cant be if he is having a fitness test today and didnt go hard at training on Wednesday.

Giants are good, but not infallible. They got belted by a very mediocre Hawthorn not that long ago and Melbourne kicked 7 straight 2 weeks ago.GWS can just run the same gameplan as Melbourne did last week. Unlike Melbourne they have the players to finish off. Not going to be pretty this week. Expecting Atkins to go missing for long periods tomorrow night.

Who comes in is more interesting.

I think I’d back Gibbs or MackayReally?
I dont think its a mystery, its always going to be Mackay.

The temptation to get DMac and Dougie back together again may be too much...I think I’d back Gibbs or Mackay
We got atkins though.Im more worried about the Mummy wrecking ball machine. Make no mistake he is going to go through one of our players for sure.
Do you believe that or is that a not-so subtle jab at selection ?? Hybrid mid goes out, midfielder comes in.Really?
