Absolute rubbish Freo fans.
The team is a disgrace. I hope they never play in a primetime slot again.
I thought the Carlton game earlier in the year was one of the most insipid performances I'd ever seen by a professional sporting outfit.
This was, somehow, worse.
Use all the excuses you like. Clubs take responsibility so do coaches.
Freo don't seem to ever do this. Ironic for a 'non excuse club'.
oh hello its the delusional docker fan.Oh hello it's the obsessed Hawthorn poster.
Why wouldn't the game have been scheduled for Docklands?
I know WA teams bitch and moan about getting games at the G but if we're "maximising revenue", why should anyone give a shit?
Just another example of AFL hypocrisy.
It's really not.
Yep the inane foameroh hello its the delusional docker fan.
Its all good Ross must have a secret game plan up his sleeve like last year....still waiting...but i'm sure its coming
So it's better when people don't turn up after they've already bought tickets?
No, no just pointing out that the only people affected by a lower turnout is the catering, rip off companies. Watered down mid strength and overpriced greasy food.
All clubs have bandwagon supporters and a rusted on hard core element, although for a team that screams constantly about being the no 1 club in Australia in regards to how professional they are and how many members they have, under 20k on a Friday night is very average to say the least.
Don't want to go see Lyon's brand of shit defensive football (especially in wet weather)
Why should I watch a team who have put the cue in the rack for the season after having injuries to their best players. Boo hoo!
Pies haven't been able to gain any consistency this year either - also partly due to injuries but at least they put in.
Game was as expected, Freo scoring 5 goals, sloppy play, freezing cold, transport delays etc.
Pies won ugly - ugly weather and opponent.
Whilst I go to nearly every Pies game and enjoy watching them play win or lose, why would I bother going to watching your shit team going through the motions.
Going to watch the VFL tomorrow instead - Pies v Richmond at Vic Park. That satisfies my footy fix for this weekend.
Your team is shite why should I watch them play? You go girl !!
Cold tomorrow too matey at vic park. At least I will see a contest.lol goes on a massive rant and then admits at the end that they were too much of a peaheart to go to the game themselves
Your team is shite why should I watch them play?
Supporting the reserves tomorrow. Pies member for over 30 years.
I am entitled to go to any game I want. Your team is boring.
Like I said - it could be snowing next week for all I care but I will still go watch Pies play Caaarlton! The reason I go to freo games is to watch and support freo, I suspect most people do the same.
Blaming the lack of quality for not attending is worse than blaming the cold weather.
Enjoy the VFL, I hope the sun comes out for you

Doesn't make me a peaheart.

Except Collingwood & other "big 4" supporters. If Melbourne, Saints, Doggies etc had been playing Freo last night and had 20,000 in attendance no-one would have blinked an eye.
Did you back your side to win against the Pies? LOL. (I don't think Kram did.)But you said..............
You also said..............
Weird comment to make considering we had won the previous 3 games
Dont forget to pack the sunscreen
Unlike FremantleThis thread keeps on delivering
I think the maximum crowd achieved by any Vic club playing against Freo last night would have been 30,000....Except Collingwood & other "big 4" supporters.
Unlike Fremantle
I'm so burnt by your remark I must apply some cold water
Translation - I'm a lazy, fair-weather supporter.Did you back your side to win against the Pies? LOL
I backed my team to win this week.
I go to games where I don't expect us to win. This is only the second home game I have missed this year.
(In fact I was a member in 1976 when we won the spoon and I travelled down from country Victoria every weekend - saw every game.)
You seem to be asserting that the poor turnout last night is related to the Pies position on the ladder?
As I stated before we still lead the league for attendances this season despite our position this year. Many supporters didn't go last night because it was Freo, not through fear of losing, but quite rightly not wanting to watch your sides shit brand of football that degrades every match into a turgid boring game.
As for sunscreen - it is a winter sport, I saw many games over the years at suburban grounds standing in the rain freezing. I just don't see the point of it to watch the Dockers go through the motions. The only regret I have is not seeing Pav in his last game at the G. A true champion going out on a poor note with a pathetic club.
As for the Pies - i will see them tomorrow. It will be interesting to watch the ressies play.
Hopefully a good opportunity for my mates kids to get their jumpers signed by a few of the senior players like last time.
Your response is about as imaginative as Ross Lyon's game plan and as pathetic as your club.
I'm out of here. Sad,sad, pathetic Fremantle...
