Sorry to keep singling you out, but Terlichs game today wasn't really above average for him. . Good on you for realizing his value, but he's been doing that shit every week.

Grimes marking and Positioning is the only thing that makes him better than Terlich
Both are terribly bad decision makers when kicking

So much was good about today, but the two best things were probably Watts and Pedersen.

It was fantastic to see Watts step up and kick those two clutch goals in the last quarter. Also, huge work rate all day.

Pedersen.... geez. Where to start. He had gone from VFL spud to competent and committed role player up to today. Today.... today..... and I can't even believe I'm writing this, he went to key forward behemoth. He's kept raising the bar week and week. His work rate has been exceptional. But today, clunking contested marks and kicking vital goals?!?!? F**k me. Incredible. I'm sure it isn't going to happen week in, week out, but if he keeps working the way he is he's going to continue to be a vital component of our side.

Final comment would be the massive pressure and brutal tackling that we subjected the Tiges to all day. Fantastic to see. A pity a few more of the tackles weren't rewarded for HTB...

Grimes is excellent defensively, so there's also that he's got on Terlich.
Yep, shuts down his man every week and has had a couple of great help defense games.

Does anyone here know when the full match replay is up on the AFL website? I want to re-live every groin grabbingly good moment. cheers
Usually 12 hours after the finish.

Richmond supporter here, very early into the second term I sent an sms to my mate who is a Dees fan who had corporate box tix to the game. In the msg I told him Richmond were cooked and I predicted Melbourne to win by about 4 goals.

The MFC just looked sharp today. Actually, you guys have looked sharp since quarter time against the Crows. I watched the replay of the Adelaide game and it was very noticeable how much more composed and systematic the Dees were.

The early signs of disintegration from a Tigers point of view was that though Richmond tried to take the game on and run the ball Melbourne did the same but had guys working harder defensively and then to create spread and space when you got the ball back. Richmond was chasing jumpers from early on even though they were in front.

Melbourne looked far more likely a team today. They are looking more and more impressive. A potential wrecking ball for many other teams this season.

Yeah you may be right but I like the fact that he can't rock up to training next week and expect a gig against PA
If he doesnt train hard and earn it on the track he won't walk into the line up
The only reason Frawley might not be a walk up start is because he's looking like he's leaving us at the end of the year so we need to start learning to do without him.

GOOD: For the first time in many years, there's no talk at all about us getting high/priority draft picks. Thank god for that - our era of patheticness is coming to an end.

BAD: I missed the game...

Fugly: If we hadn't blown it against the Bulldogs, we'd have 3 in a row and be one of the form sides of the competition.

Serious tip of the cap to the Dee's on todays effort, Tuggers had it all to play for and couldn't get it done!

From a fan of a club who has seen darkness similar to what I am sure you all remember far too well its good to see things on the way up for your lot! All the best

Big wave to Barrett and pelican Denham your football nous is second to none:rolleyes:
