Kelly can't possibly fu** up this poker hand can he? He holds the winning hand because GWS know the PSD is not a bluff....of course he would need to follow through though.
Surely Reid’s doing the negotiating? Kelly’s just part of the team pulling the strings and the public spokesman right now

With exception to Galucci, that’s way too early to call on the likes of Fog, Jones, Ned, McAsey etc, despite what impatient supporters on this board may tell you.
Is it? Almost every player around McHenry and Jones has performed better, and we had the opportunity to trade up and get a genuine star. Mate Chayce Jones is an undersized top 10 pick averaging 8 disposals a game including half his games getting 6 or less disposals. For a bloke who plays on ball. Then you've got McHenry, another undersized player, our 'forward line pressure player with amazing character' who has played 8 games and is yet to kick a goal, but if there was a Coleman for being caught holding the ball he'd probably have the trophy.

Fogarty I like but he's never gonna be a gun. Only thing that saves Ogilvie is there wasn't much else around him.

Will give you Macasey on the too early front, but we only say it's too early coz he hasn't done anything yet :)

There is many ways in which we can **** this up.

In the end we'll use our Brad compo, because other clubs told us they might trade for him.

Anyone that writes off a young player after 2 seasons never goes well, Himmelberg a prime example this year. I’ll be extremely worried if Jones and McHenry haven’t improved their output in 2 years time, but I’m very confident I won’t need to worry at all then. I don’t get why supporters decide to write off young players after a couple of seasons; by your metrics Gary Ablett Jr would’ve been delisted after 2 seasons (not saying they will turn out like Gaz, but he took a number of seasons to start producing high quality consistent footy). Heck, Cotchin struggled to get on the park in his first couple of seasons. Why not just understand players all develop at different rates and to give 4-5 years to more accurately rate their output?

Sounds like an opportunity to get two giants in one trade period
****in oath... dodo couldnt actually believe Caldwell would make it to essendons first pick could he..

At $400k or so a year, even if it was massively frontloaded we would easily have the coin now that Brad, atkins and harto are gone.. plus eddies money is now off the books and we can also free up more by not re-signing mookay...

There a million freed up easy in that lot of players right there.

Who gives a **** if the kid says no to moving to adelaide.. he’ll be forced to for two years minimum and of he wants a career he’ll have to comply.. if he leaves after two years we trade him.

The PSD is one bluff dodo cant use for Caldwell.. especially given norf have pick 2 and if we didnt grab him they definately would.

Whilst i'm quietly confident we won't, Rowe said on the radio we better not use 23 on Hately, and Bicks as per usual had to go on about assessing whether there's a better player available at 23.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if we were to use it.

Very 2017 - 2020 thing for the AFC to do, I'm certainly not discounting it.

Bicks is a moron. You only pay a much as you have to pay. Whether the player you ultimately get with the pick is better is irrelevant. That's a rationalisation for paying too much. Let's trade out Sloane for 44, we might get a new version with thst pick. That's another cracker.

My concern is, like with Brouch, he's been instructed to temper expectations.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if he's employed by the club next year in some nuffie role like game day experience.

It's possible but unlikely, they love Theo.
