I can't think of a standout small forward this year, having a work rate medium \ tall seems reasonable, pretty good comeback story as well.Forward pocket
I swear to Christ Jason Horne-Francis brain rotted some people into thinking young talented draftees are gonna force their way out of losing situations after a year. YOU'RE THE NUMBER ONE PICK, it's been this way since the dawn on time. You're a top 5 pick, prepare for a lot of losing. Don't like losing? Be patient, wait a draft or two to get other top talent your age, get better and force the players around you to get better to climb up the ladder. That's the game.

I love Schoey, don't think he's out of line towards the club tbh.
Most of what he says is fair enough but in the two weeks we put together back to back wins he was trotting out the same old lines as if we'd been belted in those games. In a season of few positives it's a shame he couldn't use his media platform to celebrate the club.
Instead he waited until our awful performance against the Blues and played the told ya so card as if we had dished that up for weeks on end. He calls it as he sees it but he is also guilty of getting stuck in his own rhetoric.
I don't think he "hates West Coast" but he definitely panders to his target audience of younger Freo fans. Gets more engagement from angry West Coast fans and younger Freo fans who love chipping West Coast and also buying his Freo merch.
Yeah big time. It's also a favourite past time of West Coast fans to pump up Freos tyres and watch them melt under the weight of expectation. Schoey was a huge driver of Flagmantle. Filled his pockets on the way and would've had a chuckle when it all went sideways on repeat.

Eagles have had it coming.
The board, playing group and the coach + assistants has been dire. Any comments from outside in are deserved.
At the same time, there has been changes with more coming this offseason and next. The next 24 months will be telling, there needs to be improvement, and quickly.
