I wouldn't be 100% happy but his second half was better and we did obliterate St Kilda so I can't see the club making a ton of unforced changes
I thought he was terrible. The only good thing he did the whole game was take a contested mark in the last quarter.

He gave up a goal in the 2nd quarter with a pathetic attempt to spoil, had 1 or 2 shots at goal that went out on the full (one of which he should have centred) and didn't do all that much otherwise.

It wasn't quite VB 2015-16 bad, but it wasn't much better.

I'd be happy for Thompson in for Henderson. It wouldn't surprise me if Mackay came in for Milera either.

Old Crows would have told Milera that he'd be getting dropped before he left the field tonight. Probably wouldn't have let him join in with the song even.

Will New Crows keep the kid in there for one of footy's toughest road trips?

Henderson moved to the wing after being terrible in defense in the first half.
Every time I saw a centre bounce he was on the wing. I never remember seeing him set up in defence.

The goal he gave up with a pathetic attempt at a spoil was him dropping back into defence.

I imagine Milera and either Douglas/Henderson will go out for MacKay and Thompson.

B.Crouch, Menzel & Wigg still unsuccessfully leaning heavily on the selectors door, hopefully Knight can join them all in continuing to press their claims after the bye

He hasn't done much since coming back into the team, so I guess it comes down to how much you're willing to persist with a young player at AFL level that clearly will be a very good footballer with a bit more experience.

Milera probably deserves it FWIW.

Crouch is a no for me, if Thommo is to play its for Douglas. Milera comes out, I'm a fan but he was very ordinary. Menzel gets thrown in the deep end to see how he goes

Hendo deserves the chop but the only real alternative is DMac. McGovern gets one more week, needs to finish.

Now we have a problem. A midfield of Thommo, Crouch and Lyons will get slaughtered on the rebound at Subiaco. Far too slow. One has to miss.

Douglas should be worried but for team balance he should really be in competition with Crouch snr, not Thommo. I don't think Crouch is there yet, set to return after the bye. ..so Douglas stays. We will need some spread at Subi.

Pyke, apart from one or two brain fades has been pretty good at putting team balance and structure ahead of individuals.

I would move Cameron to the wing, bring his run and pressure up the ground, drop Hendo and bring in Menzel up forward. He's reached the point where he's wasted in the reserves. Tank and effort both fine now. Match winner. Play him before he gets injured.

I would give Menzel a spot in Milera's place

Sadly, He's right this time. In the first pre-season game, Milera did everything and looked as if he was really enjoying his football. Now, he is being carried, doing very little, and is looking hunted. I fear for his development if this is allowed to continue. McGovern, on the other hand........

McGovern is a lock!

He brings something no other player on our list has. Brilliant field kicking. He doesn't have big numbers but his disposal can be very handy under pressure.

Out: Hendo, one of Douglas, Milera, and Sloane (shoulder)
In: Mookay, Thommo

I know this board might have a bit of a melt if Milera gets dropped, but I personally wouldn't mind seeing him split the rest of this year between the AFL and the SANFL, so he can have more of a go in the midfield, and learn to find the ball a bit more.

Bickley has wanted to drop Milera for ages. He doesn't know him like he knows Dmac, Thommo, VB.

It would be pretty dumb to drop Milera now. The bye is two weeks away. He can rest then.

He's learning before our eyes. Getting caught a couple of times, trying fend offs. ..learning his limitations that he needs to work within at the level. In previous weeks he rushed his disposal a bit. He's obviously been told to work on that... now he's trying to hold onto it for longer. He's working out the right balance.

This is the perfect time to keep him in and building and some of his pin point passing and goal assists were A1 quality. Get as many games under his belt by finals. ..he's going to be a match winner.

Plus Subi will suit him on the outside.
