I would honestly drop Mclovin for Charlie Cameron. He will just add that extra bit of pace and take a bit of the heat off Eddie. Either him of Knight to give us a bit more speed on the outside. Thought Port cut us up a few times by having a lot of outside plays running past the contest.
Maybe I was at a different game.Only player with a question mark would be McGovern. Happy to persist though. Mackay stays in after that game, still a couple of ugly turnovers.
He was a bit average at a couple of contests, was good overall just whether we want Knight back.Maybe I was at a different game.
He was excellent for a second gamer. You have to get games into these kids
Agree we really need to persist with Shooter, He is part of the future IMO.You could not even be considering dropping Shooter.
Very awkward match up as he's strong in the air and quick on the ground.
So much there to like in his SECOND game. Just leave him
McGovern could be a huge headache for Richmond, especially with Grimes looking iffy to play. You could not even be considering dropping Shooter.

Mackay was walking off with ice on his calf. Could be a forced change.
cannot drop McGovern on this game......no chanceMaybe I was at a different game.

and you would be deadset wrong on Menzel ......and you have a very short memory on LeverI get the feeling the selectors want Menzel for Atkins to prove that the trade was worth it. Douglas is the only "average game" along with Tex and I don't want to sideline either of them for Knight or Cameron.
This is the first time in a while I can remember us having a player go straight from the Draft to AFL level footy and be instantly slotted into the team like it was natural, so don't know what to do with Milera. It's like Knight's position last year but even more dramatic.
...we've hit full depth: we have better players on the roster but we don't want to move people in the top 22. Holy crap.
Isn't it great to be able to see the start of a career for a future club champion .......this there is no doubt ....the poise and decision making in only 2 AFL games is incredibleWhile I would be happy to go unchanged, I would want to bring in Knight and even more so Camron for the game at Etihad Stadium. His pace would be a great addition to the side.
Today it's a case of almost everyone played well. Atkins with two average games in a row is one player in most danger.
No way McGovern gets dropped on that game. He was fantastic today. His marking power, his defensive pressure and manic attack on the footy and the mad was a pleasure to watch.
Can I just quietly say what a ******* brilliant 2nd AFL game Milera played. Absolutely lifted to the occasion.
cannot drop McGovern on this game......no chance
As I said in the GBU thread we've seen in before, but what we haven't seen much of is the willingness to throw himself at the inside pill. I'd actually be unhappy if he were injured and misses.Or your mate. Inside he was thrown around, but also stuck hard. But he worked hard to get outside ball and utilise his skills. Really good game by our old mate that we all knew was within him. Sadly he doesn't work that hard often enough. But then again, Showdown in name, but not neccessarily nature.
For mine, goes again next week, but still on a warning. Certainly deserved another week though and pull your finger out mate, because you can play.
