I would honestly drop Mclovin for Charlie Cameron. He will just add that extra bit of pace and take a bit of the heat off Eddie. Either him of Knight to give us a bit more speed on the outside. Thought Port cut us up a few times by having a lot of outside plays running past the contest.

you're insane. McLovin looked great. he's a stud in the making.

would be ridiculous to make any unforced changes after that.

If I had to look at the fringe though, the Rat was quiet, but his kicks cut like a knife. Mackay had one of his better games and is safe as long as he pays his way, still has a shit credit rating at my bank though... Douglas the only other one who didn't really put his hand up as someone who should be first picked. Seems a bit left-field but I wonder how it would go if he was replaced by a banging-the-door-down Knight?

Rat out for mine. I like him but he doesn't give quite enough at this stage. Cheney OK but if Sam Shaw has another good game he could come back.

Best outside player comes in for Rat. Knight and Menzel are the front runners.

Mackay was walking off with ice on his calf. Could be a forced change.

I'm going to go a full 180 from last week and would state i would be disappointed if that happened.

He had a big game and deserves the chance to try to string some together.

I get the feeling the selectors want Menzel for Atkins to prove that the trade was worth it. Douglas is the only "average game" along with Tex and I don't want to sideline either of them for Knight or Cameron.

This is the first time in a while I can remember us having a player go straight from the Draft to AFL level footy and be instantly slotted into the team like it was natural, so don't know what to do with Milera. It's like Knight's position last year but even more dramatic.

...we've hit full depth: we have better players on the roster but we don't want to move people in the top 22. Holy crap.

Maybe I was at a different game.

He was excellent for a second gamer. You have to get games into these kids
cannot drop McGovern on this game......no chance

:p and you would be deadset wrong on Menzel ......and you have a very short memory on Lever

Unchanged I'd say. Only possible change could be Knight for Atkins if Knight plays a blinder tomorrow but would think we give Atkins another week. These guys can't afford to have 2 quiet weeks with the depth we have in the 2's

Richmond fell in against Carlton and coughed it up against the Pies, surely we can get them next week...?
turn up and get the job done !

While I would be happy to go unchanged, I would want to bring in Knight and even more so Camron for the game at Etihad Stadium. His pace would be a great addition to the side.

Today it's a case of almost everyone played well. Atkins with two average games in a row is one player in most danger.

No way McGovern gets dropped on that game. He was fantastic today. His marking power, his defensive pressure and manic attack on the footy and the mad was a pleasure to watch.

Can I just quietly say what a ****ing brilliant 2nd AFL game Milera played. Absolutely lifted to the occasion.

Isn't it great to be able to see the start of a career for a future club champion .......this there is no doubt ....the poise and decision making in only 2 AFL games is incredible

Unchanged unless Cameron, Knight or Menzel absolutely kill it, I'm talking 40 touches, 4+ goal kind of stuff, then you'd have to be looking at Dougy or Rat, but id prefer to keep rat in.

At one stage we stagnated on the wing, with no real option available, rat got the ball and sliced a kick through the eye of a needle to Sloane. Unfortunately he muffed the hand all, but the only other bloke that could have done that off one step in our squad is, unbelievably, Milera.

**** I love the skill

Or your mate. Inside he was thrown around, but also stuck hard. But he worked hard to get outside ball and utilise his skills. Really good game by our old mate that we all knew was within him. Sadly he doesn't work that hard often enough. But then again, Showdown in name, but not neccessarily nature.

For mine, goes again next week, but still on a warning. Certainly deserved another week though and pull your finger out mate, because you can play.

As I said in the GBU thread we've seen in before, but what we haven't seen much of is the willingness to throw himself at the inside pill. I'd actually be unhappy if he were injured and misses.
