are you a Telstra customer? If so jump online and grab your free pass to all the Highlights and full match replays in HD. Its really good quality.
Thanks, Jimaki, but I'd rather have sphincter cancer than deal with Telstra at any level.

So, after a weekend without any internet access Ive found a dodgey wifi hotspot in the shadows of the Appenines. Have I been drinking too much grappa? Fantastic result. Anybody able to give me a one para summary? Windhover perhaps?

Sure. Just as the Italians managed to produce a passable apperitif (and digestive, by the sounds of it in your case) out of the pomace (waste products) of the grape harvest, the Carlton "Italians" (SOS and Bolton et al) have managed to produce a passable team out of the pomace of the MM years brewed carefully with pomace elsewhere, particularly GWS and Adelaide. It's drinking very nicely just now.

Windy, if you are reading this. I'll track down whoever hacked your account and make them pay.

If you are able to respond, post something that nobody else can understand.

Too short, didn't believe.

1. Given what was requested was a one paragraph summary for a game I have not even seen the highlights of (yet) perhaps the bounds of your incredulity may thus be slightly contracted.

2. As an aid to the expansion of your credulity, perhaps I could in kind expand upon my reference to "the pomace of the MM years" (though this might take more than one paragraph).:)

Good work. Hang in there, we're on our way.

Putting aside the injuries to Murph and Sumner, the win was exactly what I was hoping to see from us.

We maintained a 2-3 goal lead all day against a highly rated opponent. We answered each challenge as it was posed and got the reward.

No one should underestimate the importance of this performance to the long term development of this group

It certainly supports the argument that a winning culture is more valuable than high draft picks!

True, but I think Bolts would probably say we should neither overestimate nor underestimate the win. What's important at this stage are not the wins/losses but the effort and application of players.

We call it 'marc' in the Oz wine industry.

This is a most regrettable slur on our injured captain - the obviously intended inference being Murph is a whining waste product.

More importantly, "marc" being homonymous with "mark" (as whine is with wine) in these parts its use is apt to confuse. This makes "pomace" the better option.

(Otherwise, ta, I didn't know.)

(When's the help arriving ODN, ffs).

Never understood why you can't have love without marriage. I do.

You can. He said you can't have one without the other. The one is marriage. A loveless marriage is no marriage at all.
