Agree with that, but Clarke provided about as much as Brown was providing plus the bonus of being a backup ruck. I Feel the rage against him has been a little excessive (not just from you and not being personal hers; yours just happened to be the post I quoted initially.)

I was as frustrated as many when Clarke missed the chance for a walk in goal. But in fairness on looking at the replay, the most obvious give was to a player who ran past behind his back and maybe he didn’t hear the call. Granted there was another option if he looked to his left but was a Melbourne player to go over and he might have thought he’d **** up the handball over the top. A lot easier to see from the couch.

Smacks first game this year soley at FF and he had a great impact.

That's pretty encouraging. For all the talk of Lever and May, there were numerous breaks out of the centre where Joe would have eaten up the forward fifty mark. If we bring that intensity on ANZAC Day I reckon we're a show.
