I would love to see Mansell take the field as a replacement to Vlaustin. He has had consistent form at VFL level and has the attacking flair to give us run off the backline. While he's no Flossy, the drop off won't be stark.
I'd love to see Sonsie get a game, if Prestia isn't ready. He has worked on the defensive side of his game, which the coaches felt was a deficiency, and is now consistently excelling in his role. I think the coaches have been very careful with Sonsie given his huge upside but attitude concerns. I think its time to give him a chance now. He could do anything but, I feel, is the future of our midfield.
I would also love to see Stack, Miller and Parker in the side again before seasons end but this will really depend on their form and injuries. Stack continues to show moments of brilliance but then fades out of the game. Miller could not do anything more at VFL level and is really to hold down an AFL position if required. Parker is another player that is too good to be playing VFL level but squeezing him in is a challenge.

You mean Mansell? Yeah Mansell has been pretty consistent in the VFL over the last few weeks. Wouldn’t mind seeing him get an opportunity again

Yep. Would like to see both of them come in this week. I don’t think we’d be too tall with Miller. Grimes and Broad can play on smalls.

Yeah probably. Now that Castagna’s in, Aarts is probably going to come back sometime soon as well in my opinion.
Our midfield starts to look a little thin if Ross does end up missing. Prestia, Short and Bolton are going to need to have big games, with Graham and Baker going through there as well it doesn't look bad on paper.
The interesting one is Pickett, having a fantastic year on the wing but has shown he is capable of playing on ball more. So do you take him away from what he is currently doing so well and give him a chance in the middle? I think if Prestia gets up we probably won't see it happen, but if we end up going down one more mid it might be something they consider.

I'll be disappointed if the Ross rumour is true. He has been playing extremely well and giving us the inside grunt we have needed. He seems to have improved his decision making too which I was pleased to see. He's had a nice run at it these last couple of weeks and it'll be a shame to see him have to recover and then fight his way back into the team after so long. I don't want to see RCD play - I've stamped his ticket and can't see him winning enough of the ball inside or on the spread, to be an asset to our side moving forward. I'd much rather see Sonsie given a chance or, failing that, Dow. They could bring Aarts in to play midfield but he isn't a natural ball winner for mine so I'd leave him out.
Hopefully the rumour is not true and Ross plays. I don't want them rushing back Prestia either to compensate if he's not 100%.
