While it's true that we are 2nd with our centre bounce clearances total, we also conceded the 4th-most centre clearances in the league. It seems we may just have that many centre clearances because we have more centre bounces than most teams. I guess that's to be expected considering that our games are fairly high-scoring compared to most other teams.Believe it or not we are actually the 2nd best center clearance team in the comp. We are dead last in stoppage clearances though where the Suns are 2nd. So kick goals and keep the ball moving in play and we should be right
We rank equal 8th in centre clearance differential and Gold Coast rank 6th. Having said that, our differential ranks 3rd from the current top 8 teams behind Carlton and Geelong.
Conceding from stoppage clearances might become an issue for us against Gold Coast in my opinion because we rank 17th in this and Vlastuin is suspended. He's our number one intercept getter in our team and averages the most rebounds from our defence. Since this is one of our major avenues to stop our opposition from scoring, he really messed up.

Always wondered why the Suns bigfooty colours look like Mr Incredible's crotch.
Freo? why wouldn't we be able to beat freo here? We beat blues who beat freo, so we can definitely beat them. By the time we play freo and lions, (barring any injuries against GC and North) we will be at full strength. We are playing good football and our pressure game and forward handball game is looking pretty good.
If it wasn't for our undisciplined acts V swans which cost us 5 goals (3 by 50-meter penalties) we would've beaten them and no doubt we beat Geelong if Prestia wasn't knocked out, that would've made it 9 wins on the trot and inside the top 4. The key indicators have us as a top 4 team but we only have ourselves to blame losing some games due to undisciplined acts for why we arent top 4.
We have won the 2nd most qtrs behind the dees. 2nd highest-scoring team behind the lions. Pressure with and without the ball top 3 and top 5 respectively. Scores from forward half turnovers No 1
I will back us against anyone. Admittedly, we do need to have most of our players on deck to challenge the top teams.
