Yze said that Kosi will hold his spot. Geez I saw nothing in his game that screamed out he should be playing seniors.
Cumberland in and Lefau out. Time to up our scoring power and make our forward line more dangerous. A bit more unpredictability.

Id also have Ryan or Naismith in and Kosi out. But the Ooze says Kosi will hold his place.

kosi needs to learn to run through people
Unfortunately that’s a skill you can’t learn, you can either do it or you can’t! We’ll come good , we haven’t been bad a lack of soldiers is hurting us big time! I’d give Kozi 6 weeks & tell him this is your chance if he hasn’t made it then he never will. We have run & we have pressure & we still have the same stupid mistakes that we’ve always had. Lynch or Balta play today we win, Hopper & Baker play today on that ground we win, Gibcus & Prestia play today we win. We only need two of the six I mentioned & we win. Saints are shit though. We’ve lost to Carlton by **** all, likewise the Saints, beat Sydney & ran Port for a good period of time. GC jumped us & I reckon WC will beat us next week as they’re due to win. The fixture & injuries are beating us atm not our desire to compete. Don’t underestimate the sentiment within in a group of players/ young men they don’t care what number you were in the draft. Belief & commitment is the key & I think I’ve already seen enough. I would find a spot for Cumberland though & tell him he has six weeks as well. The narrow ground suited us, Im not so sure the big ground does atm. Daniel Rioli is ready to go into the middle. Ben Miller stays in & hopefully McCauliffe is good , persevere with him he looks good. From the outside at least it looks like they care & that’s the main thing. Selection issues & matchday moves count for bugger all in my book, get 23 warriors & then you tweak if from there. Go Tiges!

In: Baker, Crayfish
Out: McIntosh, Leafau

Naismith to play as 1st ruck and Nank forward to make Barrass/McGovern accountable. I dont think we have anyone else available that can do it.

McIntosh, it's just time to move him on. 7 turnovers in his 13 disposals, 1 score involvement. The good does not outweigh the bad with him anymore. Pickett wasn't great either but at least he had some good link up plays and some positive impact.

Lefau isn't impacting in the air or on the ground.

The Nankervis haters have been bloody quiet so far this season.
I'll put my hand up and say he has proven me wrong. Personally, I still like the flexibility a pure tap ruckman can give us but Nank has been huge this season and has made me eat humble pie.
I'm not ashamed to admit that.

I cannot workout what role Graham plays. The guy is quite dangerous around goals but he seems to be positioned between wing and half back. I think he would be better used in the MRJ role. The other alternative is to use him to replace Kmac on the wing

His role is to be trailing the ball winners. He is very good at this.

Such an exaggeration. Nobody is saying drop all the senior players … just drop the crappy ones like Macca and Pickett. Let’s say Macca and Pickett are out this week and Baker and Clarke/Bank come in.

Here are the ‘senior bodies’ we’d still have on the field against Eagles:

Bolton
Nank
D Rioli
Taranto
Martin
Graham
Broad
Vlastuin
Short
Baker

then there’s the following players who’ve been in the system for 3+ years:

Ross
Miller
Kosi
Mansell
Dow
Sonsie
Banks/Clarke
Brown
MRJ
Young

Sure, most are inexperienced, but they’re not first year players and majority have shown good signs at the level.

The only genuinely ‘raw’ players would be McCauliffe, Lefau and Campbell. And body size isn’t an issue for McAuliffe and Lefau, and Campbell isn’t a first year player.

Melbourne screwed the pooch as they made Jack and Jack captain and had a psycho for a coach. On what planet is 10 x highly experienced players 25yo+ not enough?

Lol, do that and we don’t win. With 14 out, another 2 injured today, we would be dumb as dogshit to drop Pickett and K Mac.

Nice one. Those big marks back in defence were like the Nank of old. Plus I reckon his tapwork has improved now that we actually try win the ball at stoppage.

My mate was at the game .. said Dusty was screaming at the runners to get him into the midfield when we’d lost momentum. Don’t turn into Karen Cornes and query his motivation when he’s just played his heart out in a close loss FFS. Leave the Dusty bashing to oppo fans and the media.

He’s very vocal on the field. Something you don’t see on the tv

Don't set the point in persisting with Kosi, 50th game today and clearly isn't up to it but generally speaking I like that Yze seemingly gives players a block of games to get use to the level before dropping them. May also be a case of having too many injuries that he is affording them that luxury.

Yze and his halfwit mates cost us that game.

If they pick Crayfish, Banks and McAuliffe instead of Graham, Kosi and Sonsie we win that game.
Who seriously types out a comment like this and actually sends it lmao. Do you honestly think that's true? And do you honestly just completely disregard every good decision that was made and think they're shit because of that? Get a ****ing grip

They aren’t injured.. just rolled ankles and both are fine Yze said
McAuliffe came back on..

Honestly we have to drop Kmac… he’s been diabolical recently mate and you know it..

Who gives a **** if it costs us a win or 2 trialing and developing some new options on the wing
We aren’t contending for the flag this season

Can’t just keep picking Kmac when he’s killing us consistently

One concern is Short's ball use and general form this year. You would've thought he would be a weapon for us with Yze wanting to hit targets in that 20m-40m range as we work up the ground. Instead he is just throwing it on the boot and using his left foot a lot more, picking out oppo players for fun.
Yep Short has been dogshit average. Trade him to Norf

Really don’t get the Sonsie hate. Had a rough patch late, but he’s got some class about him, just needs to be backed in. His challenge will be psychological, has all the tools to make it.
Needs to play through the middle he aint a small forward.

But doesn't seem to have the intensity about him to play in the middle/

Has foots kills.

Conundrum.

Keep playing him, and pit Seth back inside 50.

West Coast is a dangerous game imo they played a lot better than I expected against the Swans.

We have played well for most parts and been in most games. If not for major injuries we would be 3W and 2L
I expect to beat the eagles and no doubt we wont take them lightly.

Dusty and Bolton were brilliant.

Eagles have been waiting for this week.

Big RED circle around this fixture for them.

Theyll; come hard AF next week and will want to beat us.

Lose next week we stick the cue in the rack and get our key players healthy and get games into the kids and hit the draft with a good strong hand.

Don’t judge my comments nuffy when you’ve got nothing to add.
