Gaff, Kelly, Shuey, Natanui would all walk into our midfield. Sheed I didn’t rate but seems to have done exceedingly well with his talent and is a dangerous goal kicker. So yeah 5/6 starters are A graders and we’re still fielding Graham and Pickett
Hey @chriso11. They did walk into our midfield - and WC got spanked.

gonna spew if they bring back chol over nank, love watching nank hit oppos so hard that a bit of poo comes out
i think its soldo that chol would replace. chol maybe doesnt have the consistency yet but is more dangerous in attack. long term you think its one of nank/soldo as the main ruck with chol as a ruck forward.

unfortunately we might have to see CCJ go. Im sure we recruited him not thinking that either chol or soldo would become long term prospects but they both look like being so. Unless we can promise him jacks spot in a couple years.

24 hours is a long time in footy. Last night there were melts about selection and how it would cost us against the Eagles and in the end it was quite comfortable. Granted they lost Kennedy early, but we lost Grimes not long after so they cancel each other out.

Soldo at worse broke even with Nic Nat & I'd suggest that he probably got the better of the duel over all. Houli like all thoroughbreds looked better after his first up run last week, racking up touches with ease and providing great rebound out of the back half. Balta is improving at a rate of knots but still has those moments like a young Rance where he has a brain fade or 2, but for the most part is a very important cog down back and will only get better when Astbury comes back to allow him a bit more attacking freedom. Was good to see Bolton work into the game after a quiet first half, which is important in his development in the midfield. Cotchin was amazing tonight the way he set the tone early with his attack on the ball & the contest, you knew when you saw that, that the whole team was up for the contest. Was please with Dow in his first game, obviously come moments where he was caught out by the step up in pace, but he also showed a willingness to put his head over the pill and his hands in close were quite good.

Next week for Fremantle
Out: Grimes
