Spot on mate. Those you listed all minnow spud role players. You had 15 play Friday that played in the PF. We also had 15 from that game so both were missing 7. We were missing two top 5 players tho in cotchin and rance.

Still thumped you in second gear lel
Oh- you watched On the Couch, didn't you? The question is, why are those players missing and who replaced them? Would you rather have Caddy in place of Lynch? McIntosh in place of Stack? I get so tired of -"you aren't missing your best players" as if this compensates for the fact that eight of your next best are missing as are the depth players who would have replaced them. Adams, Moore, Langdon, Aish, Greenwood, Stephenson, Beams and Reid are all best 22. We played three talls when Reid was fit and he was in very good form. Now Degoey, Quaynor and maybe Phillips will be missing for weeks. That's half our flipping side. After halftime against your mob, five of our starting back six/seven were missing. Aish, Greenwood, Roughhead, Langdon and Moore. This would be a bit of a worry for any team.

The bolded names are genuine losses, De Goey, Roughead and Phillips actually played on Friday night which was the context of Roos and Healy's comments.
Acts of stupidity don't belong on injury lists.
The other point that they made is that you are missing none of your best players.
Taylor Adams Darcy Moore and Langdon could all be slotted into our top eight most important players. They are talking utter garbage.

Which is exactly why I bolded them, however, Grundy, Treloar, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, De Goey are all ahead of them, IMO.
The pie I feel for is Jamie Elliot as his injuries have cruelled him, was so explosive and is now plodding.

your top 8:

Grundy, De Goey, Sidebottom, Pendles, Treloar, Adams, Moore, Langdon

our top 8:

Rance, Riewoldt, Dusty, Cotchin, Nank, Edwards, Grimes, Lynch

So you were missing 3, and we were missing 2 with another 1 doing his hammy in the first 5 mins

boo hoo

I wonder how the deals you did for Treloar and Beames are going to help you improve your depth?

Man the collingwood board is filth.

Not exactly a news flash I know, but fu**.

Probably the most infighting and whinging I've seen on a board. Tried to show genuine concern for a player on their team and thought maybe I could begin to let go of some of this needless collingwood hatred I have if I just talk to them and realise we are all human, but no. First interaction, my sister gets called a **** out of nowhere. I'm all for gentle ribbing of each other, but leave families out of it.

Didn't help my perception of them.

So not all that different to this board

Richmond, in R13, were missing the following players
Soldo, Cotchin, Edwards, Astbury, Short, Lambert, Riewoldt, Nankervis, Rance.
These players combined for 3346.1 AFL player rating points.

Your ENTIRE INJURY LIST right now adds up to 3286.9 - that's right - we had it worse.
Furthermore, even if I include the mid-game loss of Roughead, on Friday night you were missing 2845.5pts.
You've copped injuries similar to or less than ours, and coped significantly worse.

Sweet Jesus! That group was missing for one game! We have had multiple players missing for months. Adams and Elliott- have both missed months. Beams, Stephenson, Langdon, Reid, Dunn, Wells, Aish, Greenwood, Moore, have been or will have missed months by the end of the season.

As for your 3286.9 rating points mob. They were all playing the night we led you ten goals to one in a preliminary final with all our spuds playing against them.

As for your coping with your injuries, I think you had accrued four seven goal or higher defeats during this time. I recall many on this forum talking about next year and writing this season off. How quickly we forget. Fortunately for you, you started getting players back and now you are as close to full strength as you could be. And the media marvels at the tiger's miraculous rise and perfect timing with regard to form. Hilarious.

Sigh. An AFL team has 22 players. Missing your best players is damaging. Missing them as well as another five or six of your mid level soldiers on top of this is diabolical. Do you not see this simple truth?

Yes, yes, yes it's been universally acknowledged that your 2018 Preliminaryship was the greatest in history... I've seen the bumper stickers.

Of that group I posted: Soldo and Edwards missed 1. Astbury missed 3. Lambert missed 4. Cotchin missed 8 (and counting). Short missed 10. Nank missed 10 (and counting), Riewoldt missed 12, Rance missed 17 (and counting).
There's 3 of our prime movers missing months. And our number 1 ruck.

We've had to dig down to the 38th player on our list. You're up to number 36. In other words - we were missing our 2nd choice players too.

And as for the prelim. That night I saw Grundy feed the ball to Pendlebury, Treloar and Sidebottom who then hit Cox and De Goey up all night long. Were any of these players missing on Friday night? I mean - we were missing Cotchin, Rance and Nankvervis from that night - surely if all those players were there, the result would have similar or even worse for us.

Oh my gosh! Could you guys please stop comparing your roosters over who have had the worse injuries. BOTH TEAMS have had bad injuries. Yes, ours were worse at the height of it all, but we've also been able to recover from it better.....so, evens if you ask me!

Tbh, I think we've fared better than the wobbles as we're getting guys back at the right time of year to have a decent crack at it come finals. Hats off to our medical team.

I don't know what is happening behind the scenes at Collingwood, but there are definitely some serious off-field issues when you can field a WHOLE TEAM with your list of injured players. Somethings not right!

Coming onto the Richmond board to change peoples minds about Collingwoods injury list, I have better chance of going onto Facebook and changing trump supporters minds that he is racist.

you guys cant cope with injuries as well as we can?
agreed

Richmond injuries:

media: hahahaha, tough t***ies, suck shit, about time, injuries are no excuse
Team: turns 7-3 and reserves go 7-0
Fans: damn injuries but look at the players we blooded because of said injuries, Stacky, Bolton, Soldo, Naishy, Eggy, Bakes, Cholly, Rossy, Garth.

collingwood injuries:

media: poor pies, what shit luck, lets feel sorry for them, injuries are an excuse.
Team: struggling and their reserves are just shit.
Fans: whinge, complain, sook, wah wah wah

Didn't you read my post? My point was very clear and concise. When the players who would have come into the team to replace your first choicers are also injured- it has a very detrimental affect on your team. We have had both quality and quantity missing for long periods of time.. You haven't.

How many games have your A graders missed? Grundy, Pendles, Sidearse, Treloar, Moore, DeGoey?

Langdon, Beams, Adams & Stephenson are big losses absolutely. The rest with all due respect are either soldiers, unproven kids or players past their best. Whilst the sheer volume of injuries looks bad on paper I really dont think its been that bad. You've used 36 players this year - you had 15 of last years prelim final 22 playing friday night with all bar Moore of your top half dozen there.

It really hasnt been all the bad - you're over exaggerating it. If all players on the injury list this week are in fact out this week then it will be significant, ill give you that.
