Exactly, there wont be mass changes, and with the forced outs, there isn't really a lot of room left.

Out: Short, Cotchin, plus probably Martin, and possibly Rioli

They wont do more than that, especially when it means losing experience for kids (we've lost our captain and both VCs, experience is a big deal).
Even if we only lose the first 2, further changes would be unlikely for this reason.


So...
In: Houli (supposedly was close this week), Caddy & if one or both of the other 2 are out, then it'll be out of Bolton (BOG in the 2s), Townsend (tough, somewhat experienced), Weller (experienced) or Ross.

What can I say , our intent was slightly better but for some reason our handling of the ball was like trying to grab soap, and our desicion making skills were ****ing horrible. Lynch, as much as I love what he has done so far, if he marked and goaled that , we would of been only three goals down .

LeTs face it , cotch and dusty are gone. Hamstrings never see good. Dusty lifted his elbow. That's never gonna end well. All our guns are out. ****ing shit. I feel like with so many guys out we are relearNing our game plan again. Which in turn has made out players Not as confident as they used to be. We need to turn it around fast

Georgie replicated his woeful conversion inside 50 from last season. I realise he adds speed but really if he can't put the ball between the big white sticks then please replace him with someone who can. Had a couple of golden opportunities and just botched them like he normally does. He is not a finisher and I think Hardwick needs to realise this, i loved his chasing the last couple of seasons but otherwise he has been a passenger and is one of the poorest skill wise in the side.

What annoys me is in the real world if someone is lacking in a particular skill they do a course or have someone work with them to strengthen an area of weakness. His kicking has been a weakness since he came in the side and quite frankly he has got worse, what do the coaches actually get paid to do.

I might sound like a old bastard who’se outve touch but I reckon sometimes and with some blokes, like a sooky horse they need a good kick in the arse to get them moving and get what you want out of them.
I’d square Ellis up somewhere quietly in the rooms and give him the hairy eyeball.
We need leadership now on the field, it doesn’t take skills to sacrifice and commit and this is his opportunity to step up and be a leader. Our situation right now needs someone and I would put it right on him to step up or piss off.

I was surprised to be in agreement with Dimmas assessment of the game.

My initial thoughts were we can't afford to keep losing but on the same account our backline needs a bit of time.

Thought our performance was better but we aren't gelling yet. Either players weren't quite in the right position or there were incorrect decisions with ball placement by hand and foot.

Most sides seem to have adopted our pressure style of game and use it in parts which is why it's so important for us to sharpen up to create some time and space.

Loved Stack. Disagree with some on Castagna. Must have a really solid body because he surprised me last night with his body hits on the opposition while still holding his feet.

We need to buy some time with a few wins now so I'm getting nervous about the Port game as to whether we can sort out enough to get us over the line by then.

Otherwise I don't think we are a write off for the season.

Easy Tiger,I’d be more pissed off if we lost these games with a full squad but our outs aren’t run of the mill players.

Looks like it’s our turn to get a run of injuries.

We can turn it around,better to get the bad luck early than right before September.

That's right....I think the next couple of games will be hard but we should get better from then on. Gives us the opportunity to see how some of these younger guys go....and on that note, how good does Stack look? Really exciting player....

Absolute blight on the current game. Don't know how a bloke can run around with one opponent all game and get called for holding him once when at every stoppage he is holding on to him in some capacity and yet the umpires will found a free kick in the very same stoppage for holding the man when two blokes are jostling for the best position in the hope of actually winning the ball and not simply limiting your opponents ability to use the ball. Just doesn't add up. Either put the whistle away or punish the bloke who has no intentions of trying to win the ball.

I mean as bad as Dusty has been this season, he has been tagged in all three games and yet has 1 free kick for in total. Mind-boggling stat. Can't possibly tell me in all the contest Dusty has been involved in this season that he is direct opponent who has zero intentions of winning the ball himself has only impeded him once.

Yep...no wonder the poor guy is frustrated!
