are we actually playing Port at the G or is the fixture website bugged out
I’m certain that we have 4 G games in a row after the bye.

Port,Carlton home games then a Cats away G game and an Eagles G home game.

Big boy month straight after the bye.

Big cheat month for the umps.

since we are such a huge club why don't we get to just play all our games at the G?

makes no sense for us to play games at minnow clubs home grounds

totally agree

Jack is not a prime mover anymore
He will no longer be a prime mover when he realises for himself he is not a prime-mover. Not you or anyone else. He had 2 or 3 on him all night and Soldo was a basket case up there and the small forwards in Castagna and MRJ did shite.

When he realises himself…. Lol

Mansell had another good game in his new small forward role in the VFL. I think I'd probably look to bring him in against Port. We can't keep persisting with George.

Cumberland and Stack are also options, but Cumberland doesn't offer enough defensive pressure and Stack's running isn't as strong as Mansell's.

What about mansell and Cumberland replacing George and mrj. Mrj just isn’t ready.

I think first and foremost our pressure forwards need to be judged on their defensive output, and MRJ despite being a bit inconsistent with his offense, is leading the way in this area.

Cumberland has yet to show enough defensive intent at VFL level. Mansell has already passed him in this area in two games as a forward.

Biggest home crowds but the media always down play us while they put on the Brut 33 and gold necklace to promote how wonderful the crowd for the Pies Blues game was.

In music, self promotion is everything to try to sell top 40 songs.

Richmond are an album band.

coll vs carl round 3 2011 the pies unvieled their flag and both sides went into the game 2-0. they drew 88k

when we unvieled the 17 flag against carlspoon we drew 90k

pies vs blues rd 17 2011 both sides flying drew 85k

richmond vs pies round 19 2018 both sides flying drew 89k

big matches involving richmond draw better without the heavy promotion that pies vs blues gets during the week, and we heavily outnumber both supporter bases in the stands. there is no way colonwood have more fans than us in victoria because if they did they'd outnumber us in the recent big games . what the pies do have is a lot of uninvested "fans" that never watch them, never attend games and cant name a single player. these arent real supporters. Richmond fans are heavily invested .

carlton are just good for a giggle and are the small fry of the big 4 with a base closer to hawthorn than the other 3

You can't be serious, Buddy was the difference at the end of the day. The only forward to have kicked 5 goals (4 on Gibcus) gibcus was beaten.
Today I saw Moore take many marks over Curnow, many spoils, even though Curnow kicked 4 by memory. I did not see Gibcus do that against buddy at all where you can say he beat him in many contests. Buddy was BOG hence he beat gibcus. We love the kid but geez we need to take the one-eyed glasses off for this game.

Gibcus 10 disposals (4 turnovers) at 60% disposal efficiency. Just 4 pressure acts.

On Tarrant what Hoos and I were saying, Broad and even Tarrant would've been a better option, it doesn't mean it was going to happen, just talk.
The bottom line Grimes was the right matchup and no way buddy kicks 5 on Grimes.

I put the blame for this loss fairly and squarely on Shai Bolton. Score is 56-23 just over halfway through second quarter. We’d kicked 7 goals in a row and were arguably one more goal away from breaking their backs. We were utterly dominant and playing great footy. Sydney didn’t even look like scoring a goal. Free kick on the wing, and Bolton does what he does every … single … week and gives away a totally unnecessary 50m penalty. Sydney kick a goal they desperately needed, get it to 56-29, and from that moment you could tell they’d changed their body language and had momentum back in their favour.

I guarantee every single Tiger supporter was watching thinking what I was …. “I’ve got a feeling that 50m is going to be costly”. And so it proved. Of course there are hundreds of other incidents post that, but that was the moment where the momentum of the game shifted and Sydney players knew they were back in with a sniff.

Maybe it would have shifted anyway, we will never know. But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that our utter dominance we’d had for 30-minutes ended that very moment.

If we didn’t concede that goal and managed to kick the next, at 65-23 the game is over.

We have 110,000 fans wanting Castagna dropped; Richmond don't care about us.

Hopefully Balta is ready to go so Gibcus can have a to go forward, especially if Lynch doesnt get up.
Tarrant is a decent match up for Dixon.
Soldo dropped. Gibcus/Balta/Pickett to share 2nd ruck.
Night be time to give Edwards a game as sub to get games into Stack/Cumberland/Clarke too.
Castagna has to go.

At the ground it always felt that Swans at some stage would get a run on. So I agree, we needed to be well ahead to enable a safe buffer. Never quite got there and the point you raise was so early in the game that they had plenty of time. Even Jacks first shot in the last might have been enough to create a gap/raise doubt in Swans minds. Alas...
