for the trip to WA to face the eagles

Out: Nank (suspensio) Bauer (injured) Cotchin (Rest) Riewoldt (Rest)
In: Soldo, Clarke, Ross, Ryan

It’s probably a good opportunity to rest the older guys before the run home being a trip to WA and that the eagles are what should be a beatable side, given their struggles

Broad. Young. Grimes
Rioli. Balta. Vlastuin
McIntosh. Hopper.Ross
Prestia. Martin. Baker.
Pickett. Ryan. MRJ

Soldo. Bolton. Taranto

Banks. Miller. Graham. Clarke

Sub:HRS
Hrs useless at sub

If you don't give Tylar Young votes, you've got no idea.

Also, Hopper had a huge 2nd half.

FWIW, I have no idea how we won with a non existent forward line

It’s called a false 9. We are the disrupters of the afl

Might sound strange but ins/outs

Out :
Bauer - Injured but hope he gets his debut later in the year
Nank - Will get 4 weeks with Richmond tax
Cotchin - No need to fly him to perth and just let him take the week off

In :
Cumberland - Just to see what he can do against a wafl team and maybe regain some sort of confidence
Mansell - Didnt deserve to be dropped so gets an automatic spot due to playing a sh!t team and get a game into him
Soldo - Well clearly this is exactly why we still have him on the list

Not dropping Kmac / Pickett
I still have hopes of getting Pickett back into form and to 100 games
Kmac plays because the game is in perth and if he plays crap again he can spend 2 weeks in perth and have a break

Next West Coast! Should hopefully be a percentage feast for us

gonna be close for 2-3 qtrs and we'll finally blow out for a 25 point victory

I wouldn't trust us against the eagles , if we give anything less than 100% we are ****ed. Gone are the days where we can cruise. We are not in the 8 we don't have the luxury of resting players, plus our % is shit

Awesome win by the boys, but man they made hard work of it. Left a minimum 5 goals on the table through missed regulation set shots on goal. So many talking points:

Jack Graham's two clutch goals in the last quarter;
Jack Ross had a huge game, coming on as the sub (should never have been the sub in the first place - his form line, last 6 games was of a very high standard);
Nank electing to bump yet gain, resulting in a semi concussed Swans player (high risk strategy & when it isn't executed perfectly, is going to pay the price with the MRO - BTW who is a complete w***er) and is looking at a minimum 2-3 weeks on the sidelines (yep the season that just keeps on giving);

Last two and a half quarters by Dusty and Shai Bolton (was the actual spark that lifted the team, starting halfway through the second quarter) was immense and that final goal kicked by Dusty was all class;
Nick Vlaustin had a great game in defence and also changed the structure of our forward line (and indirectly negated Swans drive off their backline), with a short stint up forward, taking a great mark & finishing with a good goal (was a smart tactical move by Mini and the assistant coaches);

Special mention to Tyler Young, for his game on Buddy, had some really good moments in dangerous tight situations and overall won in that position on the ground.
The welcome inclusions of Prestia and Dusty made a huge difference to the team, particularly rotating through midfield and pushing forward into the 50 metre arc;

Anyone who has doubts over the recruitment of Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper to the club, think again, Taranto will be leading our B & F count by the length of the straight at Flemington racecourse atm (and is also a sneaky Brownlow medal chance), and some of Hopper's clearance work in the second half and around the ground was very good, kicked a nice goal and also has a decent side step in heavy traffic and complements our on ball brigade set up very well;
Liam Baker's freak soccer style goal at the start of the third quarter, is surely a contender for goal of the year and sent the crowd into raptures.

As the great Dimma used to say:
Big boy month coming up, must win a minimum of 3 out of the next 4 games coming up against the Eagles, Hawks, Demons & the Bulldogs (and rely on other results to fall our way), to keep our faint hopes of playing finals alive this season. It's gonna be interesting that's for sure.

Oops - amendment to above post, was thinking of Cotchin's great goal and incorrectly referenced Jacob Hopper...doh! :p

Mansell,
Floossy goes forward and Trezise slips back. Trezise was also a forward when kicking s**t around in West Gippsland paddocks.
I think Cumbo should find a book relating to Houdini’s autobiography and learn some acts of magic and illusions.
I disagree TI. I think that Vlastuin only works as a forward when he switches during the game and takes them by surprise, i.e, manning up their free man in our forward line. I don't think it will work if he's down there all the time.

100 % on all that,just on Hopper,@700k hes got no choice really and considering his game last week and first half last night u cant blame observers
for thinking WTF is goin on here ? good that he improved immensly in the 2nd half bc he absolutely had to keeping in my mind we played Sydney who arent playing finals this year,theyre not the yardstick,hes a way to go to justify his price tag imo,heres hoping he does it n soon,last nights 2nd half was
a good start

It was to upset Karp3_dm 😂 bc he wanted Noah in Wonderland in. Just a bit of fun between us both.

Corn comparing Nank to Tom Stewart's hit last year? for a start Lloyd had at least just released the ball, Prestia never had the ball, Stewart ran past the contest and flatout KO'ed Prestia. Nank's hit is comparable to DeGoey and he'll rightfully get 4 weeks, dumb act.

On a separate note Dusty & Bolton are turning into everything I hoped and imagined at the start of the year, God If we only had Lynch

I think we’ll crush them. Boys know what’s at stake now, and we’re pretty good in Perth. We were up by 36 points against Fremantle there in the 3rd quarter a month ago. We may not win by 100 points, but I think we’ll at least win by 50 points.

A win is a win... Doesn't matter how you get it done.

But taking my Richmond glasses off... If we play that game like that 10 times, we would lose 8.

We do not have a forward line at all.

Sydney will be kicking themselves, all they had to do was break even in the middle but they stopped after half time.

Take it and RUN

disagree, Shitney were only in it coz every hack kick of theirs seemed to hit their own player on the chest, garbage umpiring until someone had a word to em at half time, every random spillage went to their players, and we couldn't kick or handball for shit until last quarter as we were still wearing off the byeitis

any other day easy 30 pt win

How many times did we tackle them ,,,,then coz we don’t dump , incorrect disposal ,,,just ignored
