So? Jolly had a dead set throw in the first quarter too and nothing was paid. So far the umpiring has been pretty decent. A few shit calls here a couple missed there, but nothing overly favouring one side as far as I can see. Collingwood have even managed to be on both ends of some shitty advantage calls.

Not a bad game so far, I still reckon Collingwood will win but can see it going down to the wire which is good for us neutrals.
I think it was his reputation for dodgy off field behaviour that put other clubs off but that was grossly exaggerated, probably by West Coast recruiting officers, they knew he was a gun player and got themselves a bargain.
Rhys Stanley was a bigger bargain with pick 47 though, steal of the century.
