• Cripps playing one of the worst games by an Eagle I can remember in recent times, which is an achievement in itself, then subbing Chesser out anyway.

I will be saving money next year, this was my last game as a Vic member, will pick and choose which game i go to, much like the players. I will always support them, just non financially.

Negative
The campaigners who have put us in this situation, and taken the joy out of going to a game, just can't do it anymore. I'm talking those off the field from board down , and the diabolical decisions that have put us here. The players are most likely doing their best, they just are not good enough.

Welll that’s down to development which imo has been non existent for some time. Jesus Christ could try and coach us but don’t think it would make much difference at the moment. Somewhere somehow the attitude of our playing group as a whole needs to be addressed however will admit not sure what the real answer is - perhaps standards over time has just slipped that much. A bit disappointing though as thought last week that even with the loss at least they put in the effort.

• Hunt played his guts out.
• Ginbey was very good until fading in the last.
• JWilliams did well and continues to show promise.
• HEdwards should be re-signed and is a big part of our future backline.

Neg:

• Just about everything else.
• The complete lack of protection for Reid from the umpires and our club being absolutely f*cken soft c*cks and not coming out in the media to address it.
• Not so much team selection, but positional selection frustrating me. Ginbey looks better further back. Chesser look better in the middle. Ryan is great as an occasional spark in the middle but should be forward more often than not.

Really disappointing day, and I feel like most of it comes back on the off field staff to make some gutsy calls and they don't seem willing to.
