Morrison really nailed his return to the side today. Fortuitous maybe that the timing was a masterclass across the park, but he really showed his value and didn't put a foot wrong.

What a terrific win. The team is maturing nicely for another dynasty. Congratulations to the team and the coaching staff for a job well done.

It is at times like these that we should not get complacent and focus on the things to improve.
Here is my take:

1) Wasted many forward entries. At times the last kick was the issue.
2) We need 2 tall forwards at all times and it was a good decision today to leave Dear for the full game. (Although not at the expense of Day. We need Day also to play the whole game).
3) We need another tall gorilla full back (specially when we play against teams that has two or more tall forwards)
4) And this is my suggestion and don't kill me for that. Instead of Bruest or Gunston (with all due respect to them BOTH) to come in at the last quarter I would inject a fast running outside mid or wing type player. Today we really "DID NOT" need Bruest although he was excellent in the short time he played. I am more looking at close games and it is better if we could inject a fast running player. It will be either of CJ or Morrison depending on who don't plays on that day.

Finally I hope we get a chance to meet Cats again this season and BEAT them.
I am sure we will go a little deep in the finals this year.

Nope. Breust as the sub was perfect in this game due to our lead.which is fortuitous by the committee as he had immediate impact
