Dmac like role if you read properly

He can take over roles that Dmac has generally filled especially in last 12 months

And do them better , hopefully quite soon

I hope he can do more than just fill the role of "versatile plodder" and "jack of all trades, master of none"

Ian Perrie, Nick Gill, Kurt Tippett, Sam Shaw - Tregenza wasn't great, but if I think a bit longer, reckon I can push him out of the top 5
Myke Cook, Anthony Ingerson...

This is revisionist thinking. Douglas was very good when young and first in the squad. His games at Glenelg showed just how good he could be.

We must stop judging his early years with his last ones.
I'm not saying he wasn't good I'm saying he's more a natural footballer than Galluci but Galluci has him well and truly covered in athleticism

What role is that, the non-statistical role? Sure hope we don't have anyone playing that one next year

Ingos the one. Abysmal.
There's a very strong argument for him being #1.

Did well when traded to the Dees as a CHB who handballed nearly all the time. Our problem is we played him as a forward who was lucky to snag a point 30m straight in front.

Top 5 of Ingerson, Gill, Shaw, Cooke & Perrie.

Geez we have has some lousy kicking forwards, which makes it pleasing about the current crop.

If the roles that Dmac have been playing weren't important we'd all just be happy to leave him in the side for being a good bloke

Of course the roles that Dmac plays are important , that's the whole point ... We need to get more out of the guy that chops out in midfield to provide a spark or pushes out to wing or takes some heat off Brodie smith down back to generate some transition

The roles are important , we need someone to perform them better

They replayed the Walshy Showdown today and it was only Knights second game.

He was a pest for Port. He harassed and tackled his arse off, very quick too.

Can't wait to see him back, I believe we erred not playing him late last year.
Love the mark he took in the square where tex gave him half a chance in a 1 on 1

And of course he kicked the important 'easy' set shot when others may have choked cough cough

Love his tackling technique - pin 1 arm and drive the opponent into the deck . Seen him do this numerous times

The kid is a winner !! He's got that thing you either have or don't

Honourable mentions to stephen rowe, kym koster, shaun mckernan and rob

For a guy who has a record-breaking leap, there is a surprising lack of leaping in his highlight reels. With his abilities he should be jumping over the top of packs like Ashley Sampi
