Autopsy Wheels falling off? 2 point loss to the Saints

Some of the goals we gave up in the last quarter were dead set embarrassing.

Mclean missing from 1 metre out on a simple left foot snap, Papley OOTF, Amartey 1500 times.

27-19 scoring shots is the story tonight and the fact we cannot handle any sort of heat nor give it. Our pressure rating would have been embarrassing in the second half

Ok.

Major, major cracks.

We have looked tired the last few weeks and that is through loose players everywhere for opp teams.

Forward line is looking dysfunctional post the bye.

Played well behind and largely unaccountable footy.

Maybe we did shoot our load too early? Who know but that was just a disappointing effort all round

Unless Adams was a fitness or workload issue he really should have been out there from the 1st bounce. Made a big difference in the centre clearances which we looked poor in all game up until that point. Just seemed a strange coaching call. Looking forward to Parker and Mills being available.

That was pathetic. We were 30 points up in the third quarter against a very mediocre and dour St Kilda. Best teams don't lose these ones.

Just some of those misses, poor kicking is poor footy so I am not saying just kick straighter,

Its no different to turnovers, but wow, Papley misses everything, Amartey can't find a goal. Mclean snap on the line, even Jmacs worm burner

Only 40 tackles is pathetic. Same story of lack of pressure and poor goal kicking.

We have a run coming up of lions @ the Gabba, dogs, port @ adelaide, pies then Essendon @ marvel. Wonder how many we drop

150-231 Saints way

Dont worry about the GF we wont get there at this rate with that intensity.

Or defensive side is difficult to understand, we guarded space and St Kilda kicked to players, we were so keen to defend nothing. I do not understand zoning and I can see the team doesn’t. Came down to work rate in the end….well, that and poor kicking. Just a terrible loss when up by 30;against ordinary competition.

The sad thing is Adams was the fall guy for the loss last week and yet when he was in the midfield in the 4th quarter he was getting the ball. First clear winner all day in there, which tells a lot. Yes fresh legs and all that, but might as well have someone else as the sub.

Problem is when Adams got the clearance the forwards couldnt hold the ball in there at all. Maybe they are all running out of fuel tickets.

Disiplanary.

He gave away 2 50s last week & got a "group punishment"... apparently.
