Unless Adams was a fitness or workload issue he really should have been out there from the 1st bounce. Made a big difference in the centre clearances which we looked poor in all game up until that point. Just seemed a strange coaching call. Looking forward to Parker and Mills being available.

Or defensive side is difficult to understand, we guarded space and St Kilda kicked to players, we were so keen to defend nothing. I do not understand zoning and I can see the team doesn’t. Came down to work rate in the end….well, that and poor kicking. Just a terrible loss when up by 30;against ordinary competition.

Harry Cunningham is our most valuable player. When he was out, Maurice Rioli was BOG for Richmond and now Liam Henry BOG for St Kilda..

The sad thing is Adams was the fall guy for the loss last week and yet when he was in the midfield in the 4th quarter he was getting the ball. First clear winner all day in there, which tells a lot. Yes fresh legs and all that, but might as well have someone else as the sub.

Problem is when Adams got the clearance the forwards couldnt hold the ball in there at all. Maybe they are all running out of fuel tickets.

We lost that game purely due to the inpetitude of our forwards being able to take a contested grab or at least bring it to ground. In saying that, our small forwards were no where near it today. Add innacuracy to that and you get what we got. We were still the better team.
