quite wrong actually Bears finished 3rd in '96 after being in the top 8 for nearly the whole year and finished 6th the year before in '95 so they weren't near the bottom of the league
funny in my family every year myself or a sibling was born Hawthorn won the flag
1976 - Eldest sister
1986 - older sister
1988 - older sister
1991 - Myself
maybe if my mum had had another kid Hawthorn might have won another premiership between 1991 and now :p

And again more proof that the AFC website has no clue about anything

Does anyone think that Jeff White will end up back at his original club as backup for Sandilands? ;)
might be a straight swap for Warnock plus a Dees draft pick
I think the tigers should have to where they're 'clash' guernsey against us this weekend seeing that we had to wear our horrendous strip against them in Rd 11 they should have to wear their horrendous strip against us
Visited Neurosurgeon today and has a small area of bruising on his Brain according to 5AA and will miss 3 - 4 weeks - Cannot believe this :(
is it bruising of the Brain or Skull? 5AA says brain
If i was the crows i'd go pretty small in the forwards department against ports slow defense so:
Ins: Jericho, Mackay, Walker/Gill/McGregor
Outs: Burton :(, Porplyzia :(, Griffin
and forward line:
FF: Jericho, Goodwin, Douglas
HF: Mackay, Walker/Gill/McGregor, Edwards
POTY
5: Cris Knights - good 4 quarter effort and went in hard to amass 37 disposals
4: Scott Thompson - Had a real good second half
3: Ivan Maric - won his position really well and tried his heart out
2: Graham Johncock - took the opposition on but struggled on the kick outs
1: Brett Burton -...
Its quite simple i posted in an early thread, on the Tuesday after the Carlton game when Johnny Reid was taking calls on 5AA a caller rang up and said she couldn't see the player numbers on our away guernsey when she was at the ground and then Reidy said the club had noticed that and has sorted...
:thumbsu:POTY:thumbsd:
5: Simon Goodwin - good game probably the only crow to have a half descent match still looked a little hesitant kicking though
4: Tyson Edwards
3: Kris Massie
2: Scott Stevens
1: Graham Johncock - Maric is the only other player that could of been put here

I think it has a lot to do with the quality of delivery into the forward line in the last couple of games, the opposition we've played and basically having 3 weeks out of footy, no doubt his out of form but probably needs to get few games under his belt before you can fairly judge him
wont go hit Selwood on the side of the shoulder no where near the head the umpire was right there and even said to Selwood " no where near your head, you played for it" might get a reprimand because of his bad record though
you know i don't really like those predominately white clash guernseys but i think it's time we move with the times and the AFC should probably look into making one for at least next year
POTY
5: Ben Rutten - Done his job really well on Brown
4: Michael Doughty - Was able to get the footy and use it pretty effectively
3: Robert Shirley - Done a great job in shutting down Black
2: Nathan Bassett - At least he tried to do somethings like trying to generate some run from...
3 Problems Tonight
1:The selected senior Players were a problem tonight and they were proudly lead tonight by Simon Goodwin whom has played s**t for a few weeks now he was lazy, uncommitted, was only captain in name tonight and tried to make his stats look better by going in the Half Back flank...
Wrong :thumbsd: Old Red It is, saw it on 9 news preview, agree with VVM clashes more with Brisbane then our home and away guernsey's.
BTW: blame those whom complained about the numbers on our away Guernsey for why we wont be seeing it for the rest of this year and will only be seeing Old Red
geez i just presumed that if it were 2011 and come on Tom Harley hardly really captains that side it doesn't need a captain the only captain things he does are call heads or tails at the coin toss or lift up Premiership Cups .
It will be between 3 and have broken it up into 6 categories - Position, State of Birth, Consistency, Discipline, Experience and age (presuming taking over in 2011):
Scott Thompson - Age in 2011: 28
Pros: Midfielder, Experienced and South Australian / Cons: Consistency and can be undisciplined...
POTY
5: Scott Thompson - Was brilliant today was the reason we were only 14 points down at the half and continued his form in the 2nd half and ended kicking a career best 6, never realized was such an accurate kick for goal  (maybe every other player when in goal distance should 'fake' an...
It's a two horse race for me between Jericho and Gill but seeing that if someone usually goes out of the side Jericho is immediately put into his place and i think the same will happen for the match against the Tigers, that and Neil Craig seems to love the bloke :p
no doesn't need it he just had a bad game last night where he could get his body positioning in the ruck right.
This thread is just as stupid as those protesters whom were holding two placards in each hand outside Parliament house yesterday protesting against Rann & Oil
POTY
5: Scott Thompson - usually has high possession games but doesn't have an effect on the game he did last night however
4: Brett Burton - was always threatening, played well, made a few mistakes, if it were a dry day match probably would of kicked 5 and will probably be his last votes for a...
