Hmm. they must be worried, i mean after all, they only rang up a post tax profit last year of $65 million.
I will bet, that this pub group will go back. This is purely a tactic to try and get a better deal from Foxtel. If not, patrons will vote with thier feet.
Hmm cops in a city built on the cocaine trade, and all the gang wars and drug barons that involved should be worried about some dildo from country australia? Please, they should taze him some, I would have.. and then some more…
Hmm even if that’s true, surely we will see plenty of coverage on a Current affair and Today Tonight about television personalities and drug use? After all, he was no longer at WC, but at C7?
RIP Chris, true champion of the game, one of my favorite players during his era, absolute gun on the field.
Hmmm I wasn’t aware the swans were favorite for this game? As a swans supporter, the only team I didn’t want them to have to play in the finals is Collingwood. We just dont match up well against them, and they are a lot quicker. Pretty simple. Any other team we would have a fair chance with at...
yep, i would agree with that in regards to melbourne, and the same for Richmond, as they do seem to have a fairly large supporter base. I still reckon in the long run, the Bulldogs would be the most nervous...
I think looking through the posts, most people agree that 2 clubs will either relocate or fade away in Victoria. The difference is no one wants or suggests their own clubs (for obvious reasons). Of the 10 clubs in vic, it can be broken down into 3 catagories, which are as follows:
Safe as...
I quite like the ground itself to watch games at, but then again, I always liked Princess park, as it was nice and close to the game. Having said that, I do think the swans should grow some **** and tell the scg trust where to go. They have the belief that it is a cricket ground first and...
I hope for Ben’s sake it isn’t Ice, and regardless of what the problem is, hope this champion of the game gets back soon enough.:thumbsu:
Ice is becoming a big problem for sport, and the entertainment industry. Just the other day I saw an article about all of Disney being on Ice…
ummm... why are people comparing crowds at practice matches with league matches? If the NRL cant be practice matches, there is something very wrong with them.
Hmmm… don’t have that many I hate individually, so I will list those that annoy me most:
Freo: Farmer- Graduate of the Doug Hawkin’s school for Marriage Counseling
Essendon: Used to be Lloyd, but that changed seeing him on Fox footy last year, thought he came across very insightful. Now...
I was, and gave it up this year. Waste of money for me to be honest. $500 per year (actually a bit more) for something I never used except for the grand final, and even then you aren’t guaranteed a seat (like you used to be when it was half that price about 5 years ago). Instead, I buy a GF...
Its not selfish, it realistic. Besides which, last time i checked, AFL, like any other profesional sport in teh world, is a business, not a people's game..
Does anyone know the order of picks for the Preseason Draft? I have had a look around and couldnt find it. I am thinking of this more because of the Thornton issue....
One other option the Swans could do to secure Everit, was trade something for a higher PSD selection, but i am not sure if this...
Quite simple for them really. Remove all trade offers, wait for the PSD. No problems, and nothing for the hawks. Dont know why the whinging to be honest... or perhaps this is a premptive thing so that when they do get him in the PSD, the talkers wont be able to compalain (as much).
1] Fremantle (between them or WC for first)
2] West Coast
3] Sydney (obviously biased, but will be in top 4 again)
4] Stkilda (no Thomas...what more needs to be said)
5] Bulldogs (up there, but still no convinced)
6] Melbourne (there abouts...)
7] Adelaide (too old, too cryptofascist)
8]...
I actually think this is one of the most thought out posts by svenny, so not sure why people are attacking him (although on past form it is kind of warranted!). One thing I would say in comparison to last year. In the lead up to the finals, there was a lot of focus on Barry Hall. He played well...
For my (admittedly biased) mind, Ryan O’keef would be a good one to get on. Played very well all year for the swans.
Outside of the Swans, Scott Lucas will poll well, and wont have many teammates taking votes from him…
Great Player, good captain, but for my mind will be remembered as the guy who left Brisbane because he wanted to win Premierships, so I hope he doesn’t have coaching aspirations!
That said, good decision by him. Allows him to focus on and enjoy the final years in footy, as well as help Clement...
At last years granny, most WC supporters were great fun, with a few showing arrogance (which would be common at most clubs I would say).
As for the game, my thinking is (not surprisingly) the swans will win it. West coast need to come up with 5 extra goals that were there as a certainty when...
Very true, but the GF isnt played in WA remember. What is the WC record for away finals since 94 by the way? If i read correctly (and will completely admit i am wrong if so, was something i read on WLF the other night), their record is 2 wins 11 loses.
Based on the above, i am hoping West...

Cheers and bad luck, freo will be there next year and the stronger for it.
It did as the stats showed (18-12)
Wet toast fan upset that his team yet again wont win a flag as even if by some miracle they do win tomorrow, they will have to face their nemisis. Couldnt do it in WA...
