Was thinking:
2022 1st to GC for Bowes + pick 7
Pick 7 to Pies for Henry and their 2022 1st
Pies 2022 1st to GWS for Bruhn
Essentially get everything done for one 1st rounder. Would be an absolute steal if we could pull it off.
Might be wishful thinking.

Stephen Wells confirmed that a deal had been offered on Trade Radio last week.
An offer of a one year deal is just shrewd list management for such an injury prone player. Shows that we want to keep him (others such as Narkle have not received such an offer as of yet). Club is happy to move him...
Agree that pick in the 60s is probably fine (though disappointing given his potential). However, Geelong have definitely offered him a 1-year-deal and have expressed a desire for him to stay. Would not be getting the axe if a deal isn't worked out.
Honestly shocked at how easy some "fans" on here are throwing out MOC's name.
Leadership group after only three or so years, loves it in Geelong. Improving at a rate of knots. 23-years-old.
Would much rather throw away our picks in this highly compromised draft then give away anyone but...
Wells not giving much away.
Happy to hear that the Jordan Clark stuff seems to have been ironed out.
Interesting to hear that Touhy has been given two years. Probably deserves it.
Club seems super chuffed on De Koning.
Need to trade out Walters.
Have $446,000 so best options are Harmes, Robinson, Caddy or maybe Waite?
Leaning towards Harmes but seems pretty risky.. Thoughts?
Yeah I do get the confusion and it can be called inconsistently at times. There also is a difference between the interpretation of a missed kick and a missed handball though. A missed handball will always be called a throw even without the presence of a tackle. A holding the ball decision...
That's literally the rule though. If you have no prior opportunity and try to kick it but miss your foot it's meant to be play on. I'm surprised by how few fans/players/commentators understand this.
There's a pretty reasonable justification for it as well. If the rule was interpreted whereby...
Made the AFL.com.au team of the week
http://www.geelongcats.com.au/news/2017-07-25/team-of-the-week-r18-did-we-get-it-right
Nice to see he is getting the recognition he deserves for the performance
Current thoughts are:
Fisher, EVW, Myers => Hibberd, Scharenburg, Cousins ($101,300 remaining)
Could also go
Fisher, EVW, Myers => Lloyd, Scharenburg, Cousins ($103,300 remaining)
Fisher, EVW, Myers => Scharenburg, Cousins + a mid worth $574,100 or less (ZMerrett?)
Any thoughts?
