If Fox isn't back would love to see Sid get a run at sub again because Braeden needs a good patch in the twos
Neither are up yet - but whining about our 2 byes.
Will send help via the spirit of Tassie.... just quickly send me $350On some selfish notes
1- I want a swans avatar but feel like this jackjumper one is lucky.
2- My wife is quiet now, help
Only thing I’m still worried about lol is when the mids don’t dominate the scoring
Think it’s a problem
A top 4 team defence doesn’t let amarty kick 9
We need a forward line to stand up is what I’m worried about
Id start Roberts next week and either Fox/Mitchell sub but looks like Fox as you said will get upFox was Emergency I think, so back next week?
Or just start Roberts
YeeeeeepppHe’s a South Australian. All they ever do is sook
Oh I am with you.
Any ****er gets off the bus sucking a baby dummy I will do my dummy.
I reckon this team seems different though.
And a lot have felt the pain.
Dunno, just calmer about this side than 2016 when I thought we were a lock.
Be a lot happier when Mills is back. Think that will just make it harder for the opposition to match up on us.
Parker and Mills are just chefs kiss on the team. And Fox. I mean it is in pretty good shape.
We are being hunted which is great, the rest of the comp has to deconstruct us.
Let them try.
Oddly posters bag out McDonald but it was Amartey who didn’t even have a possession in the first quarter. They both ended up with 10 possessions but Amartey’s goals and 3 contested marks were a career highlight.
Hopefully McDonald has his day out as teams place more attention on Amartey.
McDonald still played his part especially after half time when we got the game on our turn.
Good point, Guess you have to take chances, Mcdonald wasn't making a contest early
Watching Amartey’s goals back, it looked like 6 of the 9 goals were all on one defender no.48 Mark Keane. Surprisingly Nicks kept that match up the entire second half. They cut to Nicks when we scored a goal in the 4th quarter and man he looks defeated, basically no answers at all.
Choke the Richmond game away, and then having to face probably the best H&A side so far since Geelong 2008. That's a double blow.
To be fair, hardly anyone was. Missed tackles everywhere, not tracking runners.
Think we had about 16 tackles, total, with about 5-6 minutes left in Q2.
Horse was very calm about it in the press conference. But he did make the valid point that, while the scoreboard didn't look great tonight or last week, it was primarily a case of the opposition taking all their chances, and of us not doing the same in that early period. Not a case of being blown off the park in terms of the general run of play. Which I think was a very valid point to make.OK I’m formulating a theory (percentage of real world, verifiable evidence: between zero and zero) -
I think it’s deliberate. I think it’s the ultimate headf*** play from Horse. In fact I think it’s genius.
Everyone knows the only thing that matters is who’s ahead at the final siren.
Our opposition knows that.
And Horse knows they know that.
So I think we’re saying “Sure. Win the first quarter. Heck, win the first half. Go wild. Have a ball. Because… here’s the thing: you know we’re going to win the second half. We are going to be ahead when the final siren goes. Us. Not you.”
Piked on the pub though. if anyone’s looking for me tomorrow I’ll be strutting along the Glenelg foreshore in my swans gear.Amartey Party Time! Adelaide is buzzing with Red and White ️
Good to bump into Mister B on the way out of the ground as well
Up the Swannies!

It is a worry - but I do agree the mentality of this team seems to be that they believe no team can go with them for a complete game, if we play anywhere near our best.
The scary part is I don't think we are playing anywhere near our best, but still routinely beating teams with comfort and ease. As long as we can find that 'button' to take it to the next level at the end of the season in the biggest games - it is going to take an enormous effort from any team to take it to us for a complete game and beat us. Maybe they will - only time will tell.
McDonald needs to provide a stronger marking contest. Seems to get beaten a lot and Longmire noted post game Swans marking early on was average.Good point, Guess you have to take chances, Mcdonald wasn't making a contest early
Serious question, why are coaches making excuses against us? We have proven that right now, we are the best team in the league by a few lengths. Why don't they just admit that they lost that and move on.Nicks sulking about Byes is rich too
He gets an extra home game already thanks to gather round.
Plus the Crows just had back to back home games. Sydney don’t get that luxury.Nicks sulking about Byes is rich too

I thought Blues game they got 4 quick and they start well but we tackled hard and looked on.
Cats similar.
tonight we actually dominated play and just looked sloppy and off.
Guess not all "slow starts" are equal is my point, plus the opposition fire up to play us.
it like Pies winning so many close ones last year, people kept saying all the way to the flag, can't keep doing that.
Id prefer we get the lead quicker than the last 2 weeks.
Eventually a top 4 contender is going to back their system to apply intense pressure for the entire 4 quarters.
We played roughly 2.5 quarters this evening 2 VERY good quarters but alas the point remains.
