It’s clear from his comment that the lack of midfield support has been a real challenge for him this year.

TPP goes up 10% next year, I’d park my contract talks to if I was his manager. Despite not being a top 5 player in the league he has the potential to be top 5 paid for a year or to at least!

Managers & clubs are smart enough to work it out this season.

His comment in the post-game interview definitely makes me think that he prefers to be following and doing his thing without being the main focus “didn’t have to do it all myself today” (I’m paraphrasing).
