Haddin's value to the team extends well beyond on field performances. That's reason he got back in there over Wade in the first place.
Yep, and Had's won't be going anywhere till he calls it a day, especially with the current Clarke situation.

Hads played for Easts in Sydney for about 8 years so I was stoked when he got his shot. For the most part he has been solid, with a couple of great series, but also some very poor series.

Starc in. He has a HUGE opportunity. India, raging greentop, should be humid so can get some swing. If he can't get some wickets here then there will be questions about his development.

I think he is lucky to get the call up, but I will say he has bowled real well for NSW this year.

EDIT: If he bowls poorly then there will be questions able his development. Guys can bowl well and not take tickets.

Very weak batting lineup. Going to come down to our bowling going through them.

Harris injured?

Yeah quad strain, didn't pull up. Bloody shame, would have loved to see him on the Brisbane pitch.

Starc/Hazelwood could be fantastic or horrible.

Concerns me greatly to be honest. I reckon Starc lacks penetration with the red ball and Hazlewood looks a good prospect but hard to tell yet. Would have loved Patto Man in there to be honest, hoping he heals up quickly.

What's happened to Hilfenhaus? 8 for in the last shield game - better strike rate than Starc in tests (pretty decent record TBH) and has gone missing from the test team. Will he ever get recalled or too many past him now?

If he was ever going to be recalled it was before the UAE tour

Would love to see Cummins in there myself rather than Starc (I know, I know, he's not ready yet...). Good luck to Starc though, hope he gets a bag.

I am a soppy sentimentalist and love the fact that we have two brothers in the team again :)

Hell yes, look at how green it is!!

Starc a risk, but I guess on that pitch, with both Watson & Mitch Marsh in the side, and with Hazelwood being more of a line/length bowler, they feel like they can roll the dice with him as a strike weapon.

Ballsy, I like it.

Love Harris, but in Adelaide, he looked like we'd brought him back way too early.

Marsh boys only the fifth pair of brothers to play in the same test right?
For Australia.
Hazelwood fair enough, Starc is a dead set insult to Siddle and a clear message.
And they should send a message to Siddle.

He doesn't have the weapons to be a threat at test level anymore.
