Our wings were bad on the weekend. Burgoyne and Duursma don't have the kicking ability or judgement that we need for this year's gameplan, plus neither can kick on their opposite leg.

Changes

DBJ - Rioli
Lord - Dixon
Burgoyne - Burton
Duursma - Bonner
Mead - JHF

Sub: Narkle / Dumont

I want Jonas out for McKenzie asap, but as it stands McKenzie and Aliir are our two most important players. Cannot risk bringing Trent back too early.

It sounds like we have some very sore boys heading into the back end of the season. You would think Charlie & Lycett are both playing with injuries that will require surgery in the off season.

As for Butters, groins just suck dog balls, horrible injuries to try to manage & play through & if JHF has a herniated disc, let’s just hope it’s on the minor scale which can settle with rest.

Fantasia Lord Rioli
McEntee Marshall SPP

Duursma Wines Bonner
Hayes Rozee Butters

Houston Burton Bergman
Farrell Aliir Williams

Finlayson Drew Boak Jones

Sub:Evens

Lycett clearly isn't fit, so get him right.
If fit; JHF in, Jones to sub and Dixon in for Lord (Who hopefully spends the week working in his goal kicking)

It’s the going to ground which signals his ageing legs and mindset.
Really? I thought going to ground signalled his ribs were fractured (which they were). There’s nothing wrong with his speed or mind. It was a stinker of a game, three players looked up to it, let’s see if we can regroup this week.

So David King said that this week’s game will show the massive gap between 1st and 2nd.
Given our current injury situation, he's spot on.

We've been poor since the bye - let's hope we can manage the players through without adding any new injuries.

I expect us to lose to the pies.

Ruck and Key defence has always been our no depth positions this season - so no surprises at all we look terrible with TMac out and Lycett playing injured

I think I would tag De Goey rather than a Daicos.

I would have a serious think about bringing Fantasia into the side.

Jonas and Mead are out of the side.

Dixon only comes back if he is fittish.

Narkle could come back in if the heavy hitters are still on the sideline.

I wouldn't play anyone injured when finals are near.

Playing OK is Hinkley talk for they were s**t and he made that clear in his second comment. Whether that means Jonas goes out is another thing
Bit like the cricket selectors saying we can't drop Warner, because there's nobody else.

I like how everyone just thinks Jonas is an automatic out. Just because he's shit at football. Like, just disregard the last 10 years of team selection under Hinkley, everything has changed. Jonas will 100% be playing against Collingwood and so will old Dyson nose Lycett.
