The SANFL teamsheet is notoriously unreliable - TT and Hately were both listed on the initial team sheet last week.

That said, there may be a melt session related to a certain forward/attempted midfielder if the teamsheet is accurate.

This was what went up on the SANFL site last week wasn't it?

ADELAIDE

Adelaide has opted to rest former Richmond midfielder Daniel Jackson for its clash with Central at X Convenience Oval.

After being rested in Round 2, the Crows’ staffer will again freshen himself up after collecting 21 disposals and six clearances against the Eagles in Round 3.

Forward Ben Davis is also out with injury, with the Crows’ AFL emergencies still to be added to their squad.

League

F: Baccanello, Hall, J. Mathews

HF: J. Cook, Mackay, Clarke

C: Newchurch, Pedlar, B. Cook

HB: McAsey, Borlase, Wright

B: Latchford, Merrett, L. Mathews

R: Strachan, Boyle, O’Connor

INT: Salt

AFL Emergencies to be added

OUT: Davis (injured), Jackson (rested)

Flynn has not been selected to play this week for GWS

So one of Mackay/Murray in for Hamill. You'd think we'd pick Murray given the Giants size, which would allow Kelly to be matched up on the smaller Himmelberg, let Doedee free a bit more and put Brown on Greene. Mackay exposes us far too much defensively down back, so I expect we'll pick him.

Not seeing Berry or Worrell listed in the SANFL squad just yet (on the SANFL app). Where is this dude looking?

Not sure but this is on the SANFL website:

ADELAIDE

Adelaide will be without the midfield drive of David Mackay and Luke Pedlar for its game against Sturt at Unley Oval.

Veteran Mackay has been called up for AFL duty along with defender Nick Murray while solid onballer Luke Pedlar is out with injury.

Adelaide University signing Mitch Marini has been recalled to the interchange bench after featuring in the opening two rounds.

The Crows are still to include their AFL emergencies in their SANFL squad.

To be fair, I would think Sturt are going to belt that side (on paper)

Based on the Nicks presser:
Brown very unlikely to play
Lynch and Hamill out (as we already knew)
More flexibility in the afl selection this week as sanfl play on Sunday
McAsey will play afl this year, but I get the feeling they’re still wanting him to build form and fitness in the sanfl for a bit longer (he lost a bit of fitness while going back home over Summer)

Would not rule out Worrell debuting yet, still seems very much in the mix, especially if McAsey isn’t ready yet.

I still think it’s Murray for Brown, Worrell for Hamill (Nicks did note that the Giants have a tall forward line and this would need to be taken into consideration for selection) and Mackay replacing Lynch as sub.

I thought I saw somewhere Rowe was named in the SANFL and newchurch was named?

It's the perfect time to debut Worrall?? Why the fu** are we giving game time to Mackay still??

We just saw how much better Thilthorpe looked at AFL level compared to SANFL, we have to give Worrall a chance, particularly with two defenders going down, added to the fact that GWS are alot taller forward.
As long as Mackay is the sub, I have absolutely no problem with that. Wouldn't want to debut Worrall and put him as sub.
