If Matt went down there is only one reason.
Our SANFL team is a waste of time - we were better off without it.
Our forward line in it is generally a complete joke - way too tall, can't compete on the ground, so the midfield just plays ping pong.
Then we have to play guys out of position because our side isn't actually structured to be a proper SANFL team.
If we can't have a proper team, we should just get rid of it.

We need a SANFL reserves team so we can play proper structure across both teams. Rather than trying to play 4 195+ cm players in the forward line.
Then we could drop Dear and Hunter to the reserves and play Himmelberg as a backup ruck to O'Brien
Then lists need to be higher
Then need larger playe list
I watched replay of the SANFL game vs North today. I actually felt Poholke and Doedee were worth a shot at AFL level - both have got something. Seems the entire side was terrible today though against the Bays - including Cheney (or did he get injured?).
A push or a punch, there is a significant difference. If Brad had seen it was a punch he would have got himself a suspension, and I wouldn't blame him.

I'm gonna put a wild thought out there:
any chance the playing group burnt Don and the coaches for bringing Mackay back in? if not consciously and deliberately do you think the playing group would still be flat about having him straight back without even playing a game?
Lever, Matt and Sloane are the only guys who wanted to be there IMO.

surely everyone outside the gold-pass group would resent the guy.
Is that because if he's playing, it means you can't possibly be the worst on ground?
IMO we are intimidated playing at Geelong
My other theory is Heelong really get themselves up playing against he Crows, this is Paddy driven
Scott said in his pressed on Friday night that they basically played an almost perfect game, he also said something similar last year
We get the Cats again in 6 weeks time and we need to reverse the trend
I agree on our record, it's horrible however not on the intimidation
