Hass is into box-ticking:
"Defender Luke Brown will be given every chance to return from an ankle injury but still has some boxes to tick to prove his fitness.
“Rory is chomping at the bit, he can’t wait to get back out there. He’s been in full training with the group now for a couple of weeks and he’s ticked all the boxes from a clinical point of view.”
In more positive news, Brodie Smith will take the next step in his return to football this week.
“Brodie has ticked all the boxes up until this point,” Hass said. (AFC website)

Too bad he's not into responsibility-taking.

Also loves "mountain of work "

This game will be low scoring but you have some massive outs as noted below, not to mention no Charlie Cameron and Lever. It will be a low scoring game but a close one, we are not in great form either as you witnessed from our awful game against the Bombers. So i dont know what to expect
o_O
Don't you expect it will be a low-scoring game?

Is it true WC will have no Lacras, Kennedy and Darling in their forward line and no Barrass in their backline?

Well welcome to our world West Coast. Watch out cause its pretty F_king frosty down here!

Box ticking is good.

Kennedy and Darling are confirmed outs. Barrass, don't know. As for LeCras:
" [West Coast] Football manager Craig Vozzo told westcoasteagles.com.auLeCras, 31, could miss after being hurt in the loss to the Bombers last Thursday.
"He trained really well, there were some good signs yesterday with his movement and he seemed fairly uninhibited but we're just going through a check-up phase with it all, to make sure we get everything right."" (AFC site, last night)
LeCras is a definite maybe ;), sounds like.

Well here's to hoping that turns into a definately maybe not!

Box ticking is good.
Ordinarily, yes.
We're left to wonder how many of Hass' boxes Tex and Sloane and a few others "ticked" before they were played, still injured and/or not-ready, earlier this season.
Hass has lost credibility and has not taken responsibility (or even apologised publicly) for stuffing up our players wrt to their hamstring injuries of which there have been so many that it cannot just be bad luck or coincidence.
Gibson is the standout example:
"Matt [Hass], meet Sam Gibson who played 130 consecutive games for the Kangaroos and is known as probably their fittest player"
Hass: "Pleased to meet you, Sam" *they shake hands* "Congrats on your injury-free playing record".
[later] Gibson: "Yow, my hamstring!!!" ;)

Barrass has been ruled out. Good for us, they are short on talls.

Just a tad. Also he takes a nice grab.

Done enough things where I've thought, oh that could be good, and a few, Oh yeah, he needs some work.

The two things I just keep coming back to with Poholke is just how clean he is, and how good overhead he is.

I'm just hoping his issues are primarily fitness based which isn't that much of a stretch considering who is in charge.

If they’re Burton’s boxes, I’d rather they were left unticked.

Hey friendly foes. Not much confidence over on our board.

My best guess of how we could line up.

FB: Hurn Schofield Cole
HB: Jetta McGovern Sheppard
C: Masten Redden Gaff
HF: Cripps ? Rioli
FF: Ryan ? Lycett

R: Naitanui Yeo Shuey

I: Duggan ? ? ?

Our options for CHF and FF are Waterman, McInnes, Brander and Vardy. Not much form in that group. We may just pick one of them and have Gov as a swingman or even chuck him forward.

LeCras I think will probably play even though he does have a wrist injury.

Others in contention for the final 2-4 spots, in a loose likelihood: Hutchings, Ah Chee, Sheed, Nelson, Ainsworth, Petrucelle

Seedsman is a huge loss.

We have been getting rogered on the outside over recent games and only The SEED has shown any resistance.

We really need Gibson to be fit enough to play and he can sit on Gaffs arse all match.

Will we have a flashback to three years ago with Mackay trotting behind Gaff, keeping a count of his numerous possessions?
