Changes vs West Coast

Perhaps we become the Sydney of last year, but instead of Geelong in a semi we get Port and roll them.

I actually think some fans would be pissed if we went on a winning run and made a pre lim only to lose it. Some fans have spent our draft picks already.

Yeah we already packed Rory's things and his crib, and dropped him off at the airport for the club.

He's clearly not needed, we will be fine without him:rolleyes:

Concussion during Match Sim...... **** me.

Good to see some decent ins but that forward line is soooooooo slow. CEY has no business being there with Sloane back in.

Despite what many on here say, I actually like Milera forward, particularly if he plays the Lynch type high Half Forward. Doesn't mean DMac should have stayed though, but Wayne has shown at SANFL level he is a good forward.

Hampton obviously in for his speed and defensive pressure through midfield, and thank **** we've dropped Atkins. I have no time for guys that refuse to have a dip. Injuries probably saved Kelly and Mackay.

I wonder if this is Pyke finally telling the rest of the match committee to **** off and let him do his job
Maybe he's got to Hart first, the most easily persuaded. Campo will be a much harder nut to crack.

LUXURY, we are only missing five of our best dozen players (Betts, Lynch, McGovern, Brouch and Smith).Fortunately they are also missing some very good players.

So, both teams are missing three of their best forwards. We need to break even in the midfield and hope Tex and the KIDS can drag us over the line.

THE FOG was selected. The #Vaderlist still rules :D.

Better personnel but strange balance. Overloaded on lockdown defenders and inside mids.

Does that mean Sloane up forward to start with?

Presumably Hampton forward.

Even if D Mac plays wing we've still got too many defenders. Could there be a wildcard switch like Kelly defensive forward on McGovern?

Key forward Tom Lynch has fully recovered from a side strain, however has been ruled out for another week after reporting concussion symptoms over the last 24 hours.

“Lynchy was tracking really well and everything had settled with his side strain. Unfortunately in the last two minutes of our match sim, just got an innocuous head knock,” Pyke said.
Hell that lad has bad luck

IN: L. Brown, C. Ellis-Yolmen, D. Fogarty, C. Hampton, R. Laird, R. Sloane
OUT: E. Betts (hamstring), S. Gibson (hamstring), A. Otten (achilles), R. Atkins, M. Poholke, P. Wilson

 Finally a hard call made.

I think a simple swap of Murphy for Cheney would have balanced out the side superbly.

I'm guessing we might ease Sloane into the proceedings by putting him on the wing/across half back. Hampton can put some more speed/defensive spread into the midfield and rotate forward, as can Milera.

A better team!

Why we keep putting Milera forward though I don’t understand..

Swap Milera to HB, Mackay to bench and something a bit different.. Hampton or Greenwood to HF.. there is the defensive pressure and if Greenwood there is strong marking too. He has proven a capable forward pinch hit at times.

Next week Mackay out for Lynch..

Yep this sums it up pretty well Adelaide missing guns Betts, Lynch, McGovern, Brouch and Smith and West Coast in Kennedy, Darling, Lecras and Barras. THis points to a low scoring game and i hope no further injuries
