So based on media reports across various platforms -

WCE players linked to opposition clubs :
• Liam Ryan
• Jake Waterman
• Jack Darling
• Tom Barrass
• Harry Edwards

Opposition players linked to WCE :
• Tom Clurey
• Liam Baker
• Jack Graham
• Tim English
• Riley Garcia

Might have missed some but these are who I recall off the top of my head

Who is Darling linked to?

Melbourne?

I could see him leaving for a longer contract to squeeze out a final year or two.

If Freo interested to unlock Bolton, the following might work

Eagles
Out 3 23 Ryan
In 9 12 14 Knobel Baker Graham (as FA trigger band 3 ie pick 22 generated)

Freo
Out 9 12 14 Knobel
In Bolton Ryan 41 54

Tigers
Out Bolton Baker Graham 41 54
In 3 22 23

Eagles and Hawks
10 and F3 for Barrass

We go to the draft with 9 10 12 14 late pick for Champion having nabbed F3 with Hawks plus adding Knobel Baker Graham (and possibly English)

Depends on English - Williams is a possible trade option.
Crows might want to use R4 for Rotham to preserve their FA compo if lose Walker and Himmelburg.
I would be open to offers for Petch
WTF is that

Well that mega trade period would certainly spin the wheels.

4 1sts in this draft would be list defining. Comments about the best draftee maybe come from later picks it's that even.

Lalor
Travagalia
Bo Allen
Moreas or a tall

Plus Champion

Baker and Graham.

English still a long shot.

So Lukosius may be on the move and Crows want to retain their picks this draft.

Eagles F 1st

For Curtin and Crows F2nd?

Crows send our F1st to Suns.

And I don't agree that Curtin is a bust like some knee jerk opinions posted here recently. We were keen for a reason. So was Clarkson. And the Crows knocked back our offer for a reason.

He picked up a knee grumble early in the season and the Crows have been in damage control all season so playing the kids hasn't been high on the coaches agenda.

We lose ryan and the chance to draft one of FOS or draiper and help both Richmond and Freo .

All for 3 teen picks and and 3 player 2 of which are probably not best 22 in a decent side

The barrass trade is fine 10 and a F3 is about right

Which players are probably not best 22?

That's just a throw away line when you don't have an argument.

I agree that Curtin cops a bit of undue heat on here but likely top 3 pick for Curtin and a mid 20s pick at best is not a good deal.

No.if you want Curtin then get smillie Christ let it go.

How would you rate Curtin if he had the same year next year? I bet you would still give the same amount.

No offence we would not develop Curtin any differently. We are worse developer of talent.

Let Curtin go!!

I think JD is more valuable to us than what any other club can offer even if that’s playing the majority of the year in the 2s.

I agree - however I think it is also fair to say 2025 is his last year of AFL if he stays.

Others may offer him 2 or possibly 3 years. He knows the lay of the land at WC and the list build being a priority.

So no hard feelings if he chooses to go and get more certainty of a longer career. Not going to be a huge return (pick around 40 would probably be a decent result for us and tbf a bargain for the other team).

Or he can stay and play his 300th game for the club next year and get a champions send off like Gaff.

Lalor and Travaglia will both be gone before pick 10 maybe even earlier

Travaglia to be the bont/Oliver late riser going top 5 .

I would rather pick Fos/Draiper at 3 then a polished balanced mid with barrass compo if we get it . I like the look of xavier Lindsay.

Bo Allen for mine is very much like Ginbey . A HBF who they used as a mid at U18s level because of his size but its not his natural role and he doesn't rack it up on ball .

Do we need another HBF ?

I have a feeling chesser will move back too

100% would love darling to want to stay . We get him to 300 games and he mentors our young group of key forward .

Any late pick we get for darling would get eaten up by malakai compo .

Waterman sounding like an extension is agreed in principle thankfully.

Edwards - hoping it is as simple as him or Barrass goes, and obviously he gets more $ than signing now (more with us if TB leaves, more by leaving if TB stays). I think TB goes so Edwards stays.

Ryan/Darling - provided a fair trade is able to be negotiated then it probably makes sense for all to get it done. Let them chase further premierships and turn over parts of our list who won’t be here when we are next contending.

4 live picks between 10 and 16 is a big haul.

Likely one of Lalor or Travaglia will still be there. If not there are several similar types.

Langford
Lindsay
Berry
M Reid
O'Farrell
Whitlock for a tall defender
Moraes for a wing
